Finally submitting my application today after the very long wait lol. Here's an overview of my financial profile: November 2024: • Total Inflows (From November 1st to November 30th): 881,633.50 Naira (monthly salary) + 442,708.33 Naira (prorated 13th month allowance) = 1,324,341.83 Naira • Total Expenses = 506,425.90 Naira • Disposable Income = 1,324,341.83 Naira – 506,425.90 Naira = 817,915.93 Naira December 2024: • Total Inflows (From December 1st to December 31st) = 187,500 Naira (25% of total passage allowance) + 437,850 Naira (unused medical balance) + 1,412,883.50 Naira (531,250 Naira pro-rated leave allowance + 881,633.50 Naira monthly salary) = 2,038,233.50 Naira • Total Expenses = 936,870.75 Naira (This increase was due to typical seasonal expenses for the festive season, including concerts and fine dining with friends) • Disposable Income = 2,038,233.50 Naira - 936,870.75 Naira = 1,101,362.75 Naira January 2025: • Total Inflows (From January 1st to January 31st): 881,633.50 Naira (monthly salary) + 34,022.98 Naira (commission received from employer) = 915,656.48 Naira • Total Expenses = 478,482.40 Naira • Disposable Income = 437,174.08 Naira Expenses could've obviously been lower, but monthly car maintenance in this economy is now expensive o. Those of you who have cars and drive will understand. Budget for 7 days in London (excluding accommodation and including flights): 1,150 GBP. Any last-minute feedback before I submit? This will be appreciated. Thanks |

onile1975:You are not reading to listen at all, nothing of what I said you asked a question about. This is my first UK visa and I chop lot of rejection, so I know it could be hard if you don’t have a good profile, a lot of them here said from their experience, it may be impossible to get a visa with your status, I was expecting you as a self acclaimed “genuine tourist” to look elsewhere for now. I don’t know but where do you get an hotel of your £128/7days? That’s about £18 per night. Mine was about £50 per night and the hotel was average 3 star, so except you going to a village in the UK, I don’t know how that will pass. This feeding and transportation budget is low, I think @davodyguy was in the UK recently and he recounted how expensive the city is, if you going for touring and visiting places, even that amount won’t take you round in Lagos Bolt, if I’m factual. I even spent more in Kenya than that budget you put up. I know you trying to make it fit into your disposable income but the maths don’t lie, does it reflect a true tourist? No it doesn’t. There are beautiful countries like South Africa and Doha you can have your vacation, don’t let this Brits take your $155 and add to Manchester United new stadium renovation lol. But if you want to go ahead then that’s your decision. You can try it and see the outcome, if it’s refused you can also learn and adjust, if it’s granted then Hurray. Best Wishes |

Is it necessary to add submit both my old and new passports, or just a photocopy of the pages of the old passport. ( The old passport reflects my travel history). |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by b31164707: 12:54pm On Jan 28, 2025 |
The transportation budget isn't so bad for a week assuming he's only planning to use the bus/underground train as mode of transportation. It only gets really expensive when you start using the Black cab taxis/Ubers everywhere and from the airport for instance. If I were him, I'd just budget 500 GBP for a week (for food, transportation and sightseeing free attractions), and 350 GBP for accommodation, so total budget of 1,505 GBP (including flights) sounds more realistic for a week. onile1975:If you are not applying till June 2025, why are you hallaring in January 2025 ??You are right that you can apply 100 times for the UK visa. Pick the advice you want and discard the rest. Again, pick the advice you want and discard the rest. Stop this kind behaviour abeg. I even thought you are an agent because of the behaviour. Allow this place breathe since you have minimum 5-6 months to arrange yourself. |

onile1975:I’ve followed all your posts on here and the advice offered which you have ignored. I think it’s ok to ask as many questions but you’re asking the same questions over and over again expecting a different response in so derailing the thread. |

My sister in-law gave birth and she wants her mom to come for omogo. But they just realized that the date of birth on her mom's intl passport is different from what she filled 2 years ago when applying for UK student visa. What is the chance of this posing a problem during visa application? |

Cashmadam:It will be most certainly noticed, that is their first check name and DOB. I’m very certain it won’t pass, I’m certain. Just rectify it, or if you have an explanation to give. But going to Abuja to rectify it is another issue, so you don’t go on their wrong side, just rectify it. |

Jolene474:@ jonele 474 There is something I don't understand about ur budget how come you arive at total of £1300 . When ur hotel took £350, tickets to arsenal £145, feeding £200, total of this £695-£ 1300= £605,so how come will £605 be enough for flights and transportation/entertainment,pls throw more light to it |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jolene474(f): 3:08pm On Jan 29, 2025 |
onile1975:Just use this to structure your own. Your can’t copy and paste, our salaries and expenses are not same, so you may never understand. Structure your expenses to fit your budget, that’s all. If you like use words for words, it doesn’t matter. Like I said I had to bring it down because my initial budget was too much, I don’t know your salary or total savings right now, you can put your hotel at 100 pounds or you might not include a football ticket like I did. So let you goals in the UK compromise the expenses, not what I did. |

Hello everyone, I currently live in the UK and would like to apply for a visitor visa for my mother. She runs a small, unregistered shop and does not pay taxes. I will be fully sponsoring her visit. I need advice on how to maximize her chances of visa approval. |

davodyguy:Please how can I contact you or send a private message to you. I have an emergency on my application that requires an urgent attention. Can I have a whatsapp or call number please or can you please send your email address so I can contact you directly. |

kentdealer:Read the previous conversation from November, a lot have been said about that and how to explain interest from banks. If you use same bank account as your salary and expenses, you likely not get interest after 4 debits. |
