One question we all should ask our fathers/grandfathers who had successfully marriages should be "how did you and mummy do it? ". See eeh, marriage nowadays no get meaning atall. I overheard a lady saying "if my husband cheats, I will divorce". And I also hear guys say "I go must get side chicks for outside even if I marry because one food dey tire person". Now imagine both gender getting married, the next thing is divorce, and the product is single motherhood.

Anyways, I refuse buying anything like ashebi until I get a certificate say your wife na virgin and not a borehole, then una go swear say no divorce. Ask your grandfather and grandmother how many wife's your grandfather married and maybe abandoned along the way before finding the one who would settle permanently with him? Even as far back as the 70s/80s up in Northern Nigeria, divorce rates where high -- reaching over 70% in some places, while in the South, under the cloak of marriage abandonment, people continued to hang on to the delusion that is low-divorce rate. 🤔
