POS business isn't for the faint hearted. A slight distraction can cause loss of thousands of naira. A times it's fake transfer they do or fake money. Fraudsters have managed to cut paper into money sizes and hand it over to unsuspecting POS vendors. They place some money in front, middle and back to make it appear it's bunch of money. They may have full cash they will first count to show they have the money and later distract the vendor by swapping it for their counterfeit or incomplete cash. A times some will pretend they are buying items alongside withdrawal by multitasking vendors. They usually target young girls that are alone in their shop.
