Those courses need someone who is well grounded in foundational and advanced mathematics. It is not everyone that is like that. As for nursing, it only pays well abroad, especially in the US. Nurses are poorly paid in Nigeria.
.
The courses I listed are normal everyday courses. An average student can run it perfectly, it's just a matter of focus and interest.

Not necessarily. He/she just needs to be focus. One of my younger brothers studied media arts, he finished. During his NYSC, he wrote waec to get science subjects. As I type now, he is in his third year in the University studying Nursing and he is doing very well.

Wow. This is so brilliant.

But "Artificial intelligent" is not that bad sha. Just that the guy did not input any of his own thinking or brain into it, so that it will come in terms of the present situation.

I use it alot. But i reason along with it, so i can see where I should add my own reality to it.
Exactly. That's why it's easy to identify AI text. Some people are too lazy with it. Other times, they don't even know how to make it fit for purpose.

You should be looking at Marketing and Business Administration.

Marketing can be backed up with the skill of Digital marketing after graduation. The world needs marketers. It can never go out of proportion.

Business Administration can be backed up with the skill of Business Analysis after graduation. The world needs it as well and can never go out of proportion.

I guess you should go for Business Administration because you can find marketing in it.

Be ready to become equipped with the skill of Digital marketing and Business Analysis after school. You will be an asset.

Become a data analyst or business analyst and you’ll be fine.

If you have good IT aptitude, go into AI or Quantum Computing.

You still want to enter university to study that in this AI time? You better learn a good skill.

What's wrong in having a degree. Nothing stops one from learning a skill in addition to having a degree. I don't get some of the not well thought out comments here, though I expected them.

He did Nursing, not data science or cybersecurity management. Nursing does not require basic knowledge of mathematics. Please re-read the comment you quoted.

P.S. Nurses earn poorly in Nigeria.

Some opted for their MBA as an immigration route not actually for the studies itself and got folks back in Nigeria to do their assignments, graduated and paid an extra £9 000 to get a 5 years care job COS.....the MBA becoming a distant memory.

Really sad, having that huge number of kids out of the school system and a threat to national security.
To what end? This UK japa sounds like bullsh!t to me except one has solid work experiences from Nigeria and attended a good university in the UK.

Don't worry, go ahead and get the degree. Did I say degree is useless? But, those list you made, do your research on them.

Ranking the Courses by Career Prospects (Nigeria & Internationally)

Each of these courses has value, but their **career prospects differ based on demand, flexibility, and global relevance. Here's a ranking based on job opportunities, career growth, and international recognition:

1. Business Administration (Best Overall for Career Prospects 🌍💼)
✅ Versatility – Covers finance, management, operations, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
✅ High Demand – Needed in every industry (banking, consulting, healthcare, tech, etc.).
✅ International Recognition – Business degrees are respected worldwide.
✅ Entrepreneurial Benefits – Great for those who want to start businesses.
🚀 Best for: Managerial roles, consulting, banking, entrepreneurship.

🔹 Why Choose It?
- It offers the widest range of career opportunities in both Nigeria and abroad.
- You can specialize in Finance, Strategy, Project Management, or Operations.
- Globally, MBA (Master of Business Administration) increases earning potential.

---
2. Industrial Relations & Human Resource Management (Strong in HR & Compliance 👥📜)
✅ Job Stability – Every company needs HR professionals to manage employees.
✅ Legal & Compliance Relevance – Important for handling labor laws, employee rights.
✅ International Certification – HR professionals can earn CIPM, CIPD, SHRM to boost careers.

✅ Evolving Field – Digital marketing, branding, and social media are booming.
✅ Entrepreneurial Value – Helps with starting a business or growing a brand.

---

4. Public Administration (Best for Government & Policy Roles 🏛️📜)
✅ Stable Jobs – Government, NGOs, and policy organizations always need administrators.
✅ Useful for Civil Service – Great for those interested in government careers.
✅ International NGOs – Opportunities exist in UN, World Bank, public sector consulting.
🚀 Best for Government agencies, NGOs, policy-making, administration.

🔹 Why Choose It?
- Best if you want a career in the public sector (government ministries, local councils).
- It has limited international appeal compared to Business Admin or Marketing.
- Growth is slower than business-related fields, and salaries may not be as competitive.

---

Final Recommendation: Which is Best?
✅ Best Overall: Business Administration (Most flexible & globally recognized).
✅ Best for HR & Corporate Careers: Industrial Relations & Human Resource Management.
✅ Best for Sales & Digital Careers: Marketing.
✅ Best for Government & NGOs: Public Administration.

My Top Pick?
If you want the best career prospects in Nigeria and internationally, Business Administration is the strongest choice. It gives you access to jobs in banking, tech, consulting, and entrepreneurship. However, if you have a strong interest in HR, marketing, or government work, those fields also have potential!
