it's actually easy to do the maths for what u make from agriculture.

1st thing is to have the land,

2, Know ur cash crops and seeds.

3, Know ur Seend and harvest timelines.

4. operational costs.

Please o... Which crops can one go into in SW Nigeria that can harvest 2 to 4 times every year!!!

In a space of a few months, less than 6 months, this is the 3rd person I'm meeting that got quite comfortable, within a short space from Agricultural and farming.
Leased a land, planted crops, harvested, made money.
It was fairly straightforward.
I know others, but these ones I know from very close, not too far, some I've known many years ago, now they now got better financially. Much much better

Agriculture has money, but it doesn’t come as easy as you just painted.

Finding money to setup is one thing.
During setup, you’ll encounter some stuff that might make you think if it is really worth it because you’ll spend more than the money you earmarked for the setup ab initio.

The period of nurturing your plants before they reach harvest is another one that includes careful attention to fertigation, spraying and what have you.

To have the right up-takers is another.

Whilst I agree it is profitable, it is as challenging as bringing a lot of money.

When I shut my mouth up was when I encountered a farmer who said he was going to harvest his 80 thousand tubers yam plantation. I opened my mouth in wild surprise. He shot a look at me and told me some farmers plant 250k tubers, some 150k tubers. This they do every planting cycle. Multiply the cost of an average sized tuber by 50k pieces and then you know how much these guys are raking in annually. The funny thing is that they're all very frugal in lifestyle.

Most people who work for their money are always frugal.

Most people whose sweat is just a fraction of what they get live like emperors, most are thieves.

While farming remains the backbone of the agricultural sector, there are other sectors in the downstream value chains that offer substantial opportunities for higher margins and business growth.

This means there are many opportunities for more youth to be involved,money is one of the least problem,it takes skills and research. This is from experience. My first business didnt start with money.

Finally, there are many youth who have become self-made millionaires through farming e.g Farmer Samson, a young Nigeria farmer who transfromed farming with his Soiless farm lab in Ogun State. He has receive foreign grants from Mastercard and GIZ. and now shakes hands with many leaders across the global and some Africa Presidents.

Can you name four crops that can make one rich in agriculture?

Where do the real money comes from. Is it just selling the primary production(i.e yams, plantains, tomatoes without processing) to buyers?

Like i will always say, agric is very capable of paying 3-4 times of what so many stressful office jobs pay.

Like how tedious. in farming, cant one mobilize workers to plant, manure and harvest his/her produce, and pay them after?

If to say na so the money dey yanfun yanfun evey home will hv at least one farmer especially Lagosians that hussle alot for money..If they tell u their loss, u will weep.At times flooding, atimes extremes hot weather,crops not getting adequate water, insects, thefts even cow menace,banditry etc
That person was just blessed in the bizz not everyone will be a successful farmer.

Yes, i have watched so many live matches, as i said, i am not even a football fan. i have met Harry Kane, Hu Ming Song, is it Errickson they call that guy? I have met him, i met also Dembele, Danny Rose, so many footballers, we weren't allowed to take selfies, otherwise i woulda had so many pictures of players. Sometimes my supervisor tell me to stand out side the door of their changing rooms as security.. the players just walk past me real life, for me it was always like a normal day at work, no big deal.. maybe because i am not a football fan.

Are you very good at football? Because thesedays there are so many very good footballers from africa. I remember one guy from Naiggeria Enugu, he was very good goal keeper when i met him on the train station, he invited me to watch his games, although he was still playing for free he say it was trials. Eventually when they wanted to sign him he didn't have work permit. I don't know what happened to him after that. I really really wanted him to do well. I thnk they were going to pay about £7000 a month with allowance. I forgot the name of that club that wanted him, i think it was Leyton Orient or West ham.

Honestly this is another way you can start making money to be honest... Agriculture is a gold mine this days if you can finance it

scary, so work permit is another issue, i read about that but wasnt sure its that tight....yes im a very good winger and striker...i was supposed to be in crown football team at ogbomo but the late former governor of oyo state , alao akala who was suppose to give me a letter became late around that time, been from one trial to d other...in nigeria you have to be boxed up monetarily or have connections no matter how good you are,... you got any info how i could get link there pls
