Nothing new. The worst is when they turn you to their ATM simply because you showed sympathy. It's mostly manipulation. A lot of people see begging as 'an' easy way. Nothing new in the trend.

Begging is a full time job for a lot of people if you only know and the irony is how the laugh at your back afterwards because they make so much money everyday begging. I know a begger who owns properties worth millions. There are lots of such people on Nairaland too, who are making money from begging. People make transfer to them every now and then. The genuine people who sincerely need help are very few.

More so, is when they turn you to their ATM and the moment you don't give, they start showing ingratitude either by misbehaving some will even insult you in your face.

First case is still understandable. He might have had plans to meet someone for a business deal that did NOT pan out.

He had a VIABLE excuse for getting stranded.

But the second guy is plain MADNESS!
People like that should NEVER be given handouts.
You are a child.
Son try to be humble. I had this same perspective about life until recently I was humbled.

Life happens kid. You may be earning six figures now tomorrow you may lose it all.

This is not me trying to discredit all you said up there but for your thoughtless conclusion on what you have no facts about.

Stay humble. Peace!!

see them heartless people no empathy just like their mentor bola Tinubu
people are wicked.
The other day after closing from work,I met a man in the motor pack who begged me to buy him food.
I asked the food vendor to give him whatever he asked for.
He asked for rice.
I asked him whether he also want beans,he said yes.
I told the woman to give him beans which the woman did.
My anger is that the woman was careless with the food.
I warned her that if she is careless with the food that I won't pay her.
That this is food for a full grown Man.
That was when she calmed down and I paid her.
My brother or sister, people are really suffering in this country.
I have to farm seriously this year to try and help

People like that should NEVER be given handouts.

A poor man found himself an EQUALLY poor woman and they bleeped raw until they made a baby whom they can give NOTHING but more poverty.

That's NOT just poverty.
That is STUPIDITY!
And WICKEDNESS too.

Having a child when you know you CANNOT take of a child is EVIL!

Both of them WILLINGLY signed up to get hitched to their POOR selves. But that child DIDN'T.

Condom is JUST #300. Get it and don't make your IRRESPONSIBILITY the problem of other people.

"I don't like condom" is NOT for people who are suffering from perennial poverty.

It's one thing to be a well-to-do couple who had their child/children BEFORE they fell on hard times.

It's ANOTHER thing for a pauper who moved from his family house to a face-me-i-face-you apartment and still DEFAULTS on rent to IMPREGNATE a fellow pauper.

That's MADNESS!

I HATE people like that.
They deserve ZERO sympathy or assistance.
Your support for corrupt person's and government should not make you mad. Please watch what you say about the poor. You don't know how hard many people work to feed themselves. You don't know how many people Tinubu’s regime has thrown out of jobs and business.

Continue to mock the poor.

What's really Happening?

I'm really mindful of the places I go these days because when people see that you dress well smelling nice, they conclude you have money and they start billing you. If and when I have money, and someone needs help, my conscience can never allow me leave without helping such a person. If I am unable to help, I feel really bad and sad within me. But when I don't have, nobody helps me. Life!

I try as much as I can to stay healthy and out of police trouble cos if I fall sick or fall into trouble, I have nobody to assist me... Them say cow wey nor get tail, na God dey drive flies from it's anus o. I don't look for people's trouble at all. Slap me, I leave u to God.

Some of them are scammers while some are oloshos in disguise.....I have had an encounter with 3girls before complaining that they were stranded and needed where to sleep till the next day. I quickly discharged them, I can't fall for that foolish trick.

You must be a kid to be talking like this. In your own thinking, poor people do not deserve to have children. How are you even sure he was poor before having the baby? Life happens.....

Bros not in all case. begging sometimes na sincere need dey push some people. I am not saying there are no liars nor there are no fake nor there are no lazy people who chose begging as an option but let us remember there are people who sincerely need help and we should try to help whenever we can. Poverty is everywhere all over the world

I understand your point. It is very annoying seeing two poor families mingling together to breed children they can't cater for.

However, we are still humans, we just can do little to assist. We can't totally ignore them. I use to advise those near me that parents should only have the children only one of the parent can cater for.
