Great! The first time I visited Ife, I had thought Awo Hall will be where I did stay as a student. When I gained admission, just felt I couldn't deal with the hall. Lived in ETF all through. It was very new at the time.

Made with left over red thai curry with veggies. Pickled cucumber, egg. Fungus, mushrooms and kimchi.
I use mae ploy and maestri for my Thai curries

GboyegaD, please understand, I'm NOT saying it's wrong. I'd just like the logic behind it explained to me. Because, honestly, I do not understand it.

Where did you get this from? I don't know what the Yoruba culture is when it comes to eating and I do not think it has anything to do with it. Look through my post, I do not associate myself with a particular tribe because my parents are of different tribe and I align more with a tribe outside both. Therefore, see me as a Nigerian than a tribal person. Thank you!

Good thing you said "for me" because an unbiased observer would see it as messy NOT easy. There has to be another reason - maybe lack of plates

Plates are too many in my house. Others wouldn't eat it this way but who am I to tell them to try same when I wouldn't eat mine the way they do? To each his own, life is too short to be bothered. Just do whatever gives you joy. That is how I roll.
