Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, has prayed to be alive when Nigeria is debt free and becomes a great nation.

Bishop Oyedepo said Nigeria will become great when citizens decide to transform their personal lives.

Addressing his members in Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo said Nigerians should become the change they crave for.

He said: “The change we want to see, we must be that change first and then we’ll see that change. A great Nigeria is a cheap possibility.

“Let’s begin from the beginning. Let’s begin from ourselves. Let’s be that change. Don’t make yourself a commodity to be bought. Be satisfied with Jesus.

“I love this Nation with passion. I want to be alive to see a brand new Nation.

“I want to be alive to see a nation that is debt free and celebrates righteousness in all areas.”

There is nothing impossible for God but when you're working against your prayer how do you expect God to answer you?

I remembered a year Nigeria played a soccer match against Russia Nigeria was 4 goals down but yet a supporter of the Nigerian team was praying fervently on his seat while watching the match then his Russian friend (atheist) told him that there is no God that can reverse what is happening.
Well instantly the game changed and the Nigerians began playing as if something just entered those boys of course Nigerian team won the match after equalizing from 4 goals down!

So what's my point?
The true God is not interested in soccer but from that very moment that atheist realized that there is a God who can change things no matter how difficult the situation may be.

If Nigerians should agree to pay the same amount to all civil servants from the president to the NYSC what is debt?
How much is the debt?
Ọmọ give NIGERIA just six months and all the debt will disappear!

Bishop David Oyedepo is 70 years plus, over 50 years in ministry, 43 years of being an Apostle over Living Faith Church, bottom line is, nothing outside of GOD survives this long, lest to talk of growing in leaps and bounds, choke on that

Nothing like debt free nation. Every country has debt. Because at the end, countries are very large entities where one needs to plan for tomorrow's issues today..but the money is not there now, so , take a loan....and pay it off.

It does not mean I like the way we run our economy here,under t-pain government, but it is kind of unrealistic to expect a nation not to have debt, even if it is well run and has zero corruption.

The thing about debt is that , at a certain point in time an entity may want to do something like build a house, buy a car , etc...and the money is not enough. SO, they take a loan, and then pay it off.

Dangote, for example, when he wanted to build his refinery, did not have all the money needed. So, he took a loan, and thus entered into debt. It doesn't mean he is a bad businessman...
