It gets to a point where you just have more empathy because you ain't blind to the inherent suffering that afflicts human no matter your status.

I live in the Scandinavia, a region considered to be one of the world wealthiest, where there is literally no poverty (excluding undocumented migrants), but the amount of people on anti-depressant drugs is so high.

If I visit Nigeria, I see the level of suffering that it is clear most Nigerians already have ''empathy fatigue''. They have been exposed to suffering as a normal life that they dont feel it anymore.

For example no one look twice at the 10 years old boy who is hawking, or a 60 years old woman begging for food.

Unless one has lost his humanity, you cant help it but feel sympathy because everybody suffers somehow, and those that are currently balling will get there, only a matter of time. Money just alleviate it, but you cant escape it.

Also, I want to say thank you for your posts on this forum. I am a huge fan. I once tried the protein-sparing modified fast (PSMF) due to your post-one-time, though intermittent fasting became more suitable, cost-saving, and sustainable for me. Though I still do PSMF kinda during vacations, visitations, and times when I have to eat steadily - I consume primarily proteins during those periods.

Pansophist is now old and has grown grey hairs, so he has left juvenile character for you people to take over. If you ask him about the Redpill you people so champion about here on NL, I'm sure he'd ask you what it means. It is what growth and healing does to people.

As for kids, I am raising them in Africa, where the threshold to offer them a high quality life is easy, and when its time for uni, they can always go anywhere in the world for that.

My woman is Nigerian, so no conflict in culture, or me having to live in a place I dont like because kids were born there and their mum is from there.

Na person wey no lead himself well other people dey use. So no banks, employer and woman wahala. I avoided it from day one.

So the way my life is structured, logging out is very easy, while still retaining my income no matter where I live. All I have to do is sell off my car, give up my apartment, thats all.

This flexibility is priceless and contributes to my happiness. It makes me feel free.
