lol, we needed to change the manager, and its has backfired. Simple thing is to move on to another rather than start asking for another set of players.

We should overhaul an okay team for a manager that has not even tried to use the current tool to do something meaningful. You are willing to take such risk of being back to this point after wasting another 700m overhaul spend with/on Amorim? You think money grows on trees?
Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is insanity.

The club is finished in ways more people will start to realize later.

We will escape relegation this season but unless something major happens, relegation is not off the table within the next 5 years.
Time to pack it all up then.

Haha. God help us. We got 15 out of 45 so far under Amorim, at this rate we might struggle to do 10 out of possible 36 points left.
We can't relegate

Southampton's fate seems sealed - they currently have a miserly 10points.

I also suspect that Leicester's relegation status has also been rubber-stamped on code

Wolves and Ipswich would battle out 17th position

Only thing is that we should brace up for our worst EPL finish in decades

I don’t get. So other clubs changing managers everytime are stupid or what? So the next reasonable thing to do is keep the current manager, overhaul with another 700m (with debt mind you) and then eventually sack the manager, with the fans asking for another set of ‘his’ players for another manager? Is not that insanity?

36 points might just be enough. So we need 2 more wins grin

Let's work with facts...
1. Mention one top performing club that is busy changing managers and mention their players.
2. Then we can compare their set of players to what we currently have here.

Larride, can you please come to the front of the congregation and explain what your man Amorim is all about?

I think you are missing the point

When a team struggles with poor results, the manager is usually the 1st casuality

E.g that's why Ten hag was sacked before his Anthony was loaned out...lol

I am saying we've been trying that experiment for years and it has proven not to work for us...why not we try something else aside changing managers alone?

......really cracked up with comical views of some United fans. Do you guys actually believe our players are better than mid-table clubs' players?!

What makes Onana better than Pickford?! Maguire and De Ligt better than Braithwaite and Tarkowski?! Oh cos they are wearing Manchester United Jersey right?!

Is Hujlund a better Striker than Beto?! Compare Gueye and Casemiro as well. Perhaps Urgate is slightly better than Garner. O'brien over Dalot definitely. Zirkzee on par with Harrison.....so what makes United deserve even a point at Goodison Park?!

......only a madman, a portable-like Manager/Coach will accept United Offer if we do away with Amorim.

Once again, Amorim should never change his philosophy to please the players or impatient fans. If he loses the job coz of it, he should be proud of it and himself.

Are you for real? Young dived like there was a pool in front of him. You have been very critical of our performances since Bin Laden was axed...Where was the energy before now?
I actually posted that before the Young diving incident and bias aside, the Ref was on our side today, no complaints.

As for criticism of Amorim, I ask you, is this shit show what Ten Hag was sacked for? Man has 4 wins in 15 PL matches. We were 12th on the log and 5 points from top 6 when Ten Hag was sacked in November. Now we are sitting in 15th being closer to relegation than than the top half of the table. Was it ever this bad under Ten Hag?

And don't forget like most people here do on purpose, I called for the sack of Ten Hag after the FA Cup win last season cos I knew his race here was run. The sack he received in November was inevitable. Having said that, wasn't Amorim suppose to stabilise the ship and improve on whatever Ten Hag was doing? Instead we are going further down and imploding.

Don't join those who leave the message and start attacking the messenger because of some preconceived bias, if Amorim no sabi the job, make him find way resign abeg cos he's been the worst manager post Fergie. Rangnick wasn't this bad nau.

Ruben Amorim: "In training, we have to continue to do the same. In the second half, we changed nothing. We have to do the same thing but in a good way. We have to improve on creating chances and in this game also we struggle with scoring goals."

Oasis007, I am really trying not to abuse our players. I know it's hard to perform at that level but common even if it's Enyimba players, I will take over what we have here. lipsrsealed

Yeah, only that a manager needs to actually show workings to earn more time i.e to prove that he is the right man for the job

Breaking negative records left right and centre surely doesn't help any manager's reputation

Maybe Amorim too should implement Ten Hag's trick of winning trophies to buy more time..lol

If we finish in this 15th position and manage to win the UEL or FA cup, he might be lucky enough to earn INEOS' benefit of doubt and forge ahead with whatever plans he has..

Las las, managers are like trains thats why the general perception is that it might take a while before we recover from the mess Ten hag dragged us into

2yrs ago City won the treble, why are they useless this season?

A manager that coached this same squad to 3rd 2 years ago and won the last FA Cup wasn’t good enough for you. But you’re demanding that a new manager that takes over the same squad in mid season after bad results produce magic?

The problem didn't even start from ETH, he just compounded it.
Amorim is just showing everyone that these set of players can work with him.
It's not as if he can't tweak it but what's the use? any ETH 2.0?

The sooner fans realize we're in a deep hole, the better. Digging further won't help.
