So except United stay in this league and try to win the Europa so they can get into the Champions league through the back door I just don't see where the money to sign players who will suit Amorim's system is coming from.

The Glazers’ last transfer window was a disaster- they sanctioned deals for Mason Mount, Hojlund, and Onana - players who have turned out to be poor. It’s as if they used that window to do money laundering.

The TW before that wasn’t okay either. They okayed 5 for Casemiro at astronomical wages. They then bought Antony for 80 million.

Martinez was probably the best business of that window. Malacia and Eriksen are just there. Another window where we mostly wasted money.

No football team has a birthright to remain in a league. If the team keeps bringing their C game to the table they certainly will end up being relegated into the next level.
Manchester United in their current financial status can not contemplate relegation because it would be a disaster of monumental proportion from which they may not recover.

I actually posted that before the Young diving incident and bias aside, the Ref was on our side today, no complaints.

As for criticism of Amorim, I ask you, is this shit show what Ten Hag was sacked for? Man has 4 wins in 15 PL matches. We were 12th on the log and 5 points from top 6 when Ten Hag was sacked in November. Now we are sitting in 15th being closer to relegation than than the top half of the table. Was it ever this bad under Ten Hag?

And don't forget like most people here do on purpose, I called for the sack of Ten Hag after the FA Cup win last season cos I knew his race here was run. The sack he received in November was inevitable. Having said that, wasn't Amorim suppose to stabilise the ship and improve on whatever Ten Hag was doing? The same can not be said of Amorim; he has not had the chance to bring in his own players, so I am not going to throw him under the bus yet. I am not sold on the new manager bounce that flatters to deceive so I advise we exercise patience until next season...
