An opportunity for some of us to even have a feel of what the boy is all about...

Hopefully, he would do with some crowd support...that's if they don't get bored quickly as per the usual lethargic displays.

We can't afford to drop points in that match - 16th placed Westham are breathing down our necks already

My point…. The koko of my comment there is the crucial timing.

When did City buy these 15 players? In the last 2 years, right? More recently, 5 in the last window, when the squad needed massive support. Right?

Now, when did United buy their last 15 players? As far back as 2022.

City, a team that won the last 4 league titles and has several positions sorted , is more aggressive in the transfer window than United, a flailing team that needs serious upgrading in many positions.

No. City bought 6 players this season (Marmoush, Reis, Gonzalez, Khusanov, Savinho, Bah), Man Utd bought 6 players this season in that list (Ugarte, Deligt, Yoro, Dorgu, Zirkzee Mazroui)

Man Utd signed 5 first team players last season 2023/24(Hojlund, Mount, Onana Amrabat, Bayndir), Man city also signed 5.

Basically almost same number of transfers, And both spending about 500M

You’re still making my point for me. Both teams have brought in roughly the same amount of players for similar amounts. Yet one team is far ahead of the other. If United wants to keep catch up with City, they ought to be more aggressive in the transfer market. This entails getting quality players in without breaking the bank.

In the last 7 years, between United and City, who has bought a higher number of players? Who has the most expensive player?

Answer these questions, then tell me who was more aggressive in the market.
