Let me type my lies as usual...

The first time I saw my husband was at my friend's brother's 21st birthday party, I was 16 and half at that time... For me I don't know whether it was lust or love at first sight because I started feeling in a way I had never felt before... I started stalking him with my eyes throughout the entire party and whenever it seemed like he was coming my way, I'd look the other way...

After the party, I started asking my friend about him hoping that maybe she knew something about him, but aside knowing his name and that he's her brother's friend from varsity, she didn't know anything about him.

It wasn't until this other time it was on a Friday and I decided to pass by my friend's house after school, I was still in my school uniform and the moment I entered the house, I spotted him with some other guys in the living room and I immediately ran out of the house because I didn't want him to see me in my school uniform, it was embarrassing and my friend couldn't stop laughing...

My friend tried talking me into coming back into the house, but I refused because there was no way I was going to pass by the living room and let him see me in my school uniform and start regarding me as a baby, even though I was still a baby... ... She then managed to convince me to get back into the house and wait for her in the kitchen while she goes to her room to change her clothes and we'll go and sit in the back veranda afterwards.

I eventually agreed to wait for her in the kitchen while she goes and change, but I made sure to hide my face when I entered the house so that he doesn't see me... ... As I was waiting in the kitchen, did this guy not show up in the kitchen to get some drinks? I nearly fainted... Like I couldn't understand why would my friend's brother ask his friend to come to the kitchen and get drinks for them when he should be the one serving them instead since it's his family house... He greeted me and we exchanged pleasantries, I thought to myself that this was my chance to pull myself together and to get to know him a little bit.

We talked about school and that's when I got to know that he was studying a medical course, I told him about the biology project my friend and I were currently busy with and that's when he told me that he was available for the entire weekend, in case we needed help with it... I wasn't sure what to say, so I told him that I'll have to discuss it with my friend first, he was okay with it and told me that in case we get stuck somewhere during the weekend, we should feel free to tell my friend's brother to pass the message to him... But I thought that was a long process and I suggested that maybe he should leave his number with me, in that way I can personally call him and he wouldn't even have to stress about coming all the way to the house and to my greatest surprise, my suggestion worked... As he was writing down his number, my friend's brother came into the kitchen to call his friend back into the living room because he had been gone for a while ...

It took me a whole month to finally call him and I had to make up a story about how a certain chapter was giving me a tough time... ... The truth is that I was very good in biology and I just used it as an excuse to talk to him... That's when we started talking over the phone and at first, we were strictly only talking about school, he was my mentor and I was his mentee... But feelings got caught along the way, he kept restricting himself considering the fact that I was still in high school and on top of that, I was friends with his friend's little sister.

It wasn't until the festive period that we finally opened up to each other, but he needed to get his friend's approval first because he didn't want to feel like he breaking the bro-code between them... We eventually started dating... We dated for a whole year until my father broke us up because I was about to start varsity and he didn't want me mingling with any boys... He wanted me to focus only on school... So we were forced to breakup and we didn't contact each other for about four years until one day we bumped into each other at a restaurant and he happened to be with his girlfriend...

But this guy still went ahead and showed up at my family house the following week hoping to find me there since I was nowhere to be found on social media... But unfortunately for him, I wasn't around when he came...
