What I believe is that with time, the private sector will overtake the unitary system. For now, the unitary (FG), holds the cash and control.

Later the private sector will know their power. Africa will also know their power. Emir Sanusi said one thing before, is the amount of market we have here. It is just empowerment. Same with our football.

The other regions have untapped wealth. I remember VeryDarkMan showing a place in the middle belt that bandits attack, with tin mixed with sand on their ground. When the North/middle belt harness their wealth, they will also have billionaires to pump into football/sports.

Finally, what stops us from having a private league or leagues?

It is just myopia that makes people not see our potential.

Drogba and Essien openly defending Mourinho despite the former's close ties with Gala should teach Osimhen some lesson about shutting his mouth.

Very impulsive individual.

Major Hamza Al Mustapha mentioned something similar. Look at this post.

In the previous post, the photo shows labourers/ freelance miners digging up sand for washing ( the hose is attached t a pumping machine that pumps water for the purpose) . The sand in this area is rich in tin, zircon, and other related minerals. pic below show surface deposits, usually by locals to wash. Minerals have gotten history, peculiarities and nature of formations . finding ores like lead and zinc might be possible, but not feasible. minerals travel in a pattern.

star studded CIV from 2006 till when they finally win am saw wiiiiii before achieving that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Took them almost 10 years to win

The issue with Afcon just like the World Cup you may have like 5 teams who are at their peak same period so it becomes an issue of survival and luck with referees. How can you imagine the Eagles beaten by Cameroon at the national stadium in 2000. Both teams were too a-washed with the best of African players in that era. Same thing with the last Afcon, Morocco, Senegal, DRC, Mali, any of those countries could have won it.

As a pundit the more rubbish and controversies you talk the more traffic and Bucks you get

If they see the truth it’ll be boring and people won’t talk about it as much.

Ask yourself why no tv station has ever fired their controversial host

In football ⚽ one year is relevant two years is history and three is for the archive.

Chukwueze was not outstanding top quality in La liga just maybe slightly above average at best

You are entitled to your opinion but factually speaking the EPL is better .
That’s not even a fact
It’s based on sentiments
Whenever a Spanish team has faced an English team in the UCL finals, we can always tell who the superior team is 😂
English media hype & sentiments definitely clouding peoples judgement

🚨 JUST IN:

Victor Osimhen wants the same salary he is earning at Napoli and will not go below it - it is around £10m net per season. Manchester United really like Osimhen, but it depends on the budget they will have available this summer. #MUFC

JohnBullMySon:
Then you didn't listen to Jamie cause he never even mentioned AFCON. He said he thinks Salah is finding the Balon d'or diffcult because he doesn't play for a team in a major event like the Euros.
My brother, stop it! Stop defending what he did not say.

He said Salah doesn't play in a major tournament. AFCON is a major tournament, finish!

AFCON is a FIFA sanctioned confederation tournament that includes:

Euros, Copa America, AFCON, Asian Cup, Gold Cup and OFC Nations Cup.

That is it.

If we want to talk about prestige, that is a different matter. He said something wrong, was corrected, but doubled down on his incorrect statement. I don't know why this is so hard to grasp.

TheLoneCitizen:
By the way, Caraggher was right.

AFCON is still not a big enough tournament to decide the Ballon d'Or.
No, he was wrong because he said AFCON is not a major tournament. That is where Micah and Daniel corrected him. It is a major tournament as it is a FIFA sanctioned confederation tournament similar to Euros and Copa America.

Within international football, major has an objective definition. If he said it's not a quality tournament, that is a different matter up to interpretation. But when talking about factual matters, it helps to be: factual.

I hope the news of Lookman saying he may consider Saudi option is not true. Even Osimhen to Saudi in summer is still open, then Boniface. Hmm..our best 3 strikers presently moving to Saudi league is not cool by me..
May God not let that happen.
