Can you direct me boss.. I also want to do free course on coursera
Of course, why not. Send a DM with your number. I can forward samples of write ups I used to apply for the aids. But mind you, you have to finish at the stipulated time. If not, you'd pay.

Education is good but u jave to be strategic with it.

If as a person u don't have connections, ur parent doesn't have a functioning enterprise that can absorb you from the labour market, u don't have a running enterprise which u want to use ur schooling to build higher but all the reason u re schooling all ur life is because u want to have the higher requirements to search for job and probably secure one(just to be doing yes sir/ma) then u have come to life to waste ur youthful time bro.

Hello everyone,

I’m at a crossroads in my career and could really use some advice from those with experience. I’m a 30-year-old male, and I’ve been teaching for several years now. While I appreciate the experience, I can’t shake the feeling of stagnation—I haven’t truly advanced in my field or made significant strides related to my course of study.

What's your field of study as a graduate?

Now, I want to take a bold step forward, but I’m torn between two paths:

Pursuing a Master’s degree to deepen my expertise and possibly open up better opportunities in my current field.
Starting afresh by enrolling in a university to study a computer-related course, since tech is a field I find intriguing and potentially rewarding.
I’d love to hear from those who have faced similar decisions or have insights into the best path forward. Which option do you think offers better prospects in the long run?

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Biochemistry
So, as lovely as Bio-Chemistry, the best thought is to go take a UTME form?

This is my take...

The problem with graduates is "the money syndrome". After NYSC, we want to make money and not build career

Building a career takes you following processes. For you, all hope isn't lost

Get an Internship position asap in a big lab or chemical firm (maybe a pharmaceutical company). The challenge is, you might not even be paid, best bet, a stipend. But, these are your building blocks in growing. Sadly, you're doing this now, but, that shouldn't discourage you

I hope this helps

I can see that from your reply’s you studied Biochemistry. Instead of going for a masters degree please use that savings and start your ICAN journey. You’ll never regret it.
I don't understand
Biochemistry
ICAN

You are confusing my confusion

All of u that are mentioning PGDE, did u ask him if he has the money for it?

PGDE in University of Lagos now is 416,000 Naira o.

Federal University o.

Can his teaching job enable him raise such?

As for going back to do UTME to study whatever in 2025, that is a NO...NO.

The Tech world has advanced above University degrees.

Just pick a Tech field and get skilled in it.

well a good thing to further ur specialty on having masters on biochemistry I would like to advise maybe if you are chasing for a non-teaching job to have business on administratiout on masters and having an extra skill no matter what it is to add to your portfolio, but if you still chasing for the teaching job then maybe you can have masters on the same course and maybe shappen ur skill on teaching

In 1918, A young dude who didn't have the opportunity to study Biochemistry like you invented ALABUKUN POWDER using acetylsalicylic as it's active ingredient.

In 1979 Alhaji Safiriyu Tiamiyu popularly known as S.T began what was referred to as S.T Soaps Limited with the amount of 5,000 naira. He didn't study Biochemistry.

2025, Biochemistry graduates are complaining of no jobs and thereby taking up teaching jobs.

As Biochemistry grads dey find jobs up and down, OLOSHO wey no go school dey sell organic creams and cash out big. grin grin grin

May God heal our land and heal all of us.
God bless Nigeria.
You said it all. Nigerians with our certificate mentality. You will know this guy went to school to collect certificate to become a slave.
Wetin him learnt from school no enter him brain at all.
I am certain if he goes for master or start another degree afresh, he will still dey look for job up and down instead of thinking out of the box.

Biochemistry and na 2.2
Hi bro, ur case is quite similar to mine, though I hv a 2.1 in biochemistry and MSc in Env Tox and Pol Mgt..

Biochemistry is a life science discipline that focuses on research but without strong regulatory body thus making it looks like a bat among birds.

Having a Master in biochemistry is of no difference because there's no research lab that needs ur expertise...

Here are the options for you,

1. Wth ur BSc Cert in Biochemistry, you hv an edge over others, enrol for any safety program preferably ISPON-GHSE to learn and work through to become a safety consultant,.. The world is going into Environmental management, health and safety.

2. Go back to sch, dtz only wen u hv the financial resources to study health related courses like: nursing, Radiography,pharmacy....

3.if u are very passionate about tech, go for data analyst and integrate it into biochemistry, at least u hv heard of bioinformatics, drug design, and Environmental Analysis using QSAR techniques..

4. Or a short relief of doing a PGD in Education to be employed as teacher in public school, den follow by MSc and PhD to start as lecturer II in the university.

In all, pray to God for direction, you cannot afford to make a mistake, it may be difficult to correct...

Regards
ALASHE,...
