134 pages??!! Wow. Have you tried compressing the file or only submitting bank statements for a 3-4 month period?

Michaelcoolid88:
Tried this but it increases the file from 893 mb to 49000mb. My bank statement is 134 pages. Any trick to uploading this

These are some of the questions

Who pay your NHS
What are you doing for a living
Tell me the website of your employer
Who interview you
What are the questions asked during interview
Why are you going to do unpaid Job
How are you going to survive there
What is the mission of your employer
Have you done any volunteer job before
How much do you make in a month
How much are they going to pay you
Does your employer have any branch in other countries.

Hi
Greetings everyone

Please I need your advice on how to go about my application with tourist visa application especially how to explain my finances .I intend to do a 2 weeks holiday in August.Going to see my elder sister and the Family who are British citizens.I will be staying at their place during holiday but I will be sponsoring myself 100% .

I do a 9-5 job here and I earn 578k monthly.I also run a Logistics Company as my side business.I pay my self 1m - 1.5M monthly from it . Last year 2024 total Inflow into the business account was 153M .I have a fixed deposit of 12M with RenMoney MFB and upto 25M investment in mutual funds. I plan to spend £3K for the trip.

For the business account my CAC annual returns is upto date, but Tax clearance isn't yet

My worry is,my salary account which receives 578k monthly.I still use it for other personal and business transactions that runs into several millions.

What's the best explanation to give on these inflows on my salary account

This is the first time I am applying for a visa.I am married with 2 kids but I am going alone

I will appreciate a sound advice

Thanks

I was able to fix this by saving to Microsoft print and then compressing with https://bigpdf.11zon.com/ has a really good compressing feature

I believe there’s still time for you to organize your account and have an application that is free of money lodgement explanations.
Let your salary account be for your salaries alone, monthly expenditures should be similar for all months.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by b31164707:
Good morning. Just report your average expenditure from August to December, then state in the additional information section of your application that the stated amount of money you spend each month was averaged over a five-month period. I did this and was granted a six-month visa. Good luck!

My friend received a work visa notification email stating she's been granted a 4-year entry clearance to the UK, from March 15, 2025, to March 15, 2029

However, the vignette visa attached reads valid from March 15, 2025, to June 13, 2025 (about 90 days). What does this discrepancy mean?

That is your visa to enter… it was initially 30 days but has become 90 days since COVID days.
It is only when you enter, that the full 4 years visa is activated.

1. My Person in Nigeria is having issue accessing UK VI account to access e visa, apart from calling them from Nigeria, is there an email we can use to contact them?

2. Second question, can the e visa be processed when you arrive UK ?

3. For those who called from Nigeria to resolve issues, what is the extimated minutes before the call officers pick?

They are using GIGL which is locally owned. This must be appreciated and encouraged over a foreign firm.

I dislike this kind of arguments. If they want to use GIGL… why charge over 41,000 naira for 100 grams passport booklet that does not get delivered in 24 hours as priority?? 41k?? Really.
When DHL was handling it- it cost 12k and hardly any complaints.

I get your point. The fees can be adjusted based on distance. I am 12 minutes drive away from there and it will make sense for many to use self pickup.

DHL can afford to offer lower rates. GIGL can be compelled to use distance if you send them your feedback directly ; not by crying here

Zero thought process.

@ giselle237 thumbs up for the great job u are doing. My wife wants to apply for a visit visa to the UK to write the nursing OSCE exams. She will stay with her friend in the UK who is willing to accommodate her. I also want to add my own salary acc statement as her sponsor. It's my salary acc and only my salary comes in there around 1m monthly. Kindly advise what documents she will need to attach as supporting documents for a hitch free application. Her own salary statement is just her monthly salary of about 70k is it also necessary?

Sentiment is one of the wrongs we do to ourselves.

Imagine sitting in Air Peace and my seat doesn't have a charging point or my screen isn't working, after lots of reviews confirmed this and Air Peace has refused to change, but feeling too big, I should continue to patronise them since I want to promote local organisation?

If any importer is willing to sell PMS to me at ₦800/litre and Dangote sells at ₦860, I would save ₦60 by buying from that importer.

If I can't get value for money, what's the essence of patronage?

What VFS is doing is even more evil than good in terms of outrageous pricing of services.

GIGL being a local company should even be cheaper than foreign courier firm to be factual

Hello Everyone,

Really appreciate the valuable information and support offered by everyone on this platform. My mum got her visit visa approved (initially refused) after 3-4 months of PAP to the home office.

The date indicated for her travel in the application has already passed and she now has a new validity period. I want to ask if it’s possible to book a return trip for say 4 & half months within the 6 months period so far it’s still within the validity period. This trip is going to be fully sponsored.

I’m only worried of the type of questions they’ll be asking her at the border because it’s her first time. Also, from those with previous experiences, what other documents should she have with her?

Thanks

Considering the history of refusals and then PAP- she will be flagged at Uk immigration for extra questions.
Secondly as this is her first time, it’s safest to buy a modifiable ticket from the airline directly + book the trip duration based on what you provided in the application or slightly over. Once she crosses the border and is past that point, you can modify the ticket to cover whatever period, as long as it’s less than 180 days.
She needs to have her return ticket in hand or on her mobile.

Read the thread you will get an extensive array of documentation she should provide to help her case. For you please add documentation to show origin of your funds, that is employment letter, payslips, bank statements as the sponsor.
She must provide her statement- cause when there is no other reason to refuse, they could hang on this as we have seen in many refusal notes here that they can not tell her own circumstances in Nigeria. Better safe than sorry.

I learnt it replaces biometric residence permit (BRP). What I wanted to know is if Nigerians traveling to UK are mandated to have it before departure.

If you're on a visitor visa, not sure you need this.

I travelled with my Nigerian PP on visit visa, I didn't get one

To add to the advice given to you above, considering that it would be expensive to modify ticket l, I'll suggest you can do two months original return ticket and have a reservation for same entry date, but with about 30 days return.

If she's asked how long she would be staying (I believe they'll ask) she can say 30 days.

If they ask for ticket, that reservation which is almost 100% appearance with a normal ticket via mail to show one month can be presented.

Not sure they can contact airline at PoE to verify anything.

Good luck

Exactly! For instance, I paid about 1.35m for my Qatar Airways flight from Lagos to London via Doha, knowing that I'd obviously be getting much more value for my money by flying with Qatar Airways compared to Air Peace, even though I had the option of purchasing a cheaper flight ticket from Air Peace costing about 1.3m. 1.35m isn't even bad sef when the likes of BA and Virgin Atlantic are still charging 1.6m+ for a round-trip.
