The reason why you would talk like this is because you refuse to understand the dynamics around the fuel price.

First of all, the fuel subsidy was originally removed by Buhari, not Tinubu. Tinubu only confirmed it's gone. Buhari only included fuel subsidy in the budget of year 2023 from January to June.

Secondly, subsidy would have also gone under either Obi or Atiku because they all vowed to remove if elected . So it's not all about Tinubu alone. It's a general agreement that the subsidy needed to go.

Thirdly, neighbouring countries do not subsidise their fuel right from time. It is more expensive. In fact, Nigeria price of $0.69 is among the cheapest in Africa and around the globe. Before you mention minimum wage, Venezuela price is 0.02 but their minimum wage is $4 per month.

You are wrong about the above though, the Obidient you are responding to DOES understand the dynamics, however, they are still bitter about the Peter Obí election loss so must complain loudly despite Peter Obí vowing to do the same.

There is no money left in the coffers to subsidise anything thanks to PDP mismanagement coupled with Bubu inaction. We can't even pay all our monthly bills as a country, how are we going to find money to subsidise anything?

PDP, Peter Obi's party, mortgaged our future earnings from oil and Deziani and her friends made a killing out of it.
