Gambit001:I sincerely do not like this Mainoo demand, he's talented but what he's seeking for is just too much.. We're already a mess and very fvcking broke.. RatFace would sell either Garnacho or Him to meet up, I hope he calms down so he can stay or it's goodbye.. |

Mainoo cannot be demanding that amount at this time of his career. I refuse to believe the report. If it's true, he has to be sold let's see who will give him 180k/week |

afrodoc2:Again?! Oluwa take control o. Would be a shame if that talent goes to waste. |

Leyqute:It’s a real shame. The guy has been in and out of the sick bay for over a year now. Maybe we should just go to Arsenal and achieve Max Dowman from them. |

Gambit001:I'm not sure any sensible person will want to initiate this kind of negotiation at this period in the club, especially for someone who is currently injured and has not performed to par this season. He should be showed the door, if he doesn't want to collect 90k at most. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 10:15am On Mar 05, 2025 |
odizeey:I suspect that it will probably be somewhere around 100k weekly, mainly because of Yoro's salary. That is still reasonable compared to 180k weekly they are asking for. I also agree it is a ridiculous time to be asking for pay rise for someone who is having a mediocre season, is injured, and is contracted until 2028. |

afrodoc2:LooL. That’s probably what will happen. How would you compare Ibragimov’s injury issue with Lacey’s? Ibragimov’s spell was lengthier and Lacey’s own is more periodical. |

odizeey: afrodoc2:Only someone who hasn’t read the room will be asking for an increase, and an outrageous sum at that. The club is sacking staff left right and center and closing down branches. Now is not the time to ask for anything substantial, even if they initiated contract renewal talks. It only shows that you’re selfish and that you don’t see yourself as part of the club. It shows where you stand and probably forces the club hierarchy to start looking for ways to get rid of you. As a young player, you don’t need that. |

afrodoc2:He might not make it anymore, or lets just allow him to stay away from football for sometime and return when he is strong enough. He might revive himself. Jamie Vardy was working as a factory worker in his 20s. |

eph12:If he can't accept 100k/week, which is even too much, he should be sold immediately. We dont want mercenaries we want committed players |

Leyqute:Lacey's injury problem is worse. Ibragimov has played 300 minutes more of Under-18 league football this season alone than Lacey has played in the past 2 seasons combined. Bear in mind that Ibragimov is a year younger and is still eligible for Under-18 next season. Highly rated 2nd year scholars like Lacey should be playing Under-21 football right now but he is still battling injuries at Under-18 level. Ibragimov at 16 has made his Under-21 debut and i don't think Lacey has done the same. If the injuries continue to add up, he will ultimately lose something. I saw it happen with Ethan Laird. Someone that Under-16 followers said was almost at Greenwood level ended up playing lower league football. Recurrent injuries between 16 and 20 will kill any potential. |

🚨🚨🎙️| Ruben Amorim: “We lost last week in the FA Cup, so people consider the Europa League as the only competition we can win, there is also the link between winning the Europa League and the Champions League, but to tell you the truth, I think we have more important things to think about. “I know it's strange to say this, but it's something we're trying to build here that will be more important than winning a cup right now. I know we have the responsibility to fight for every trophy, but right now we're trying to build something that will last longer than any trophy this season.” |

afrodoc2:With Ugarte unavailable, Collyer will probably start in midfield alongside Bruno or Casemiro. Make dem sha no lose. |

olabode89:He just turned 15. He is one the best Under-16 talent England have produced in years. He started playing for the England Under-17’s as a 14yr old (2 years up) which is almost unheard of. As a 15 yr old he dominated a United Under-18 side that is one of the top 2 sides in the country. I had never seen the team that panicked like whenever he got the ball, dashing out yellow cards like a philanthropist. |

Ruben Amorim: “We do a lot of things, we don't win games, and when you don't win games, sometimes you have to change people. We know that, but as a club we do a lot of things that are difficult to do. A lot of staff pay the price for it, but we will do what it takes to win in the future.” |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 5:14am On Mar 06, 2025 |
Ruben Amorim asked whether he will change formation: "I think the system is not the problem; it is the way of playing. We have a lot of problems and we are trying to work on the problems. Every system needs different characteristics. I am still really confident. I will not change that." |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 5:54am On Mar 06, 2025 |
Rúben Amorim: "I understand what people are saying, because if you look at our team playing and the results, it's hard to imagine big things in this moment for our club, but we need to, in the darkest moment, we have to have like a light and a path, and that is clear here. And I'm sure, I don't know if I'm going to be here, but the way we are thinking things, we are going to return, and we are going to win in the future. But then is the risk. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 6:12am On Mar 06, 2025 |
CapitalCee:He should not even be asking for a new contract at this time. He's hardly been available and has struggled to make any impact whenever he is available. Let's say he returns and finishes the season strong, 100k is still a lot but we can manage that, especially if we're able to get rid of some of the high earners with little to no impact |
