Good evening all, I have an issue here and I need matured advise please. I have been celibate for 2 years now and trying to improve my spiritual life being a Christian Now last month One thing let to another I was left alone at the staff quarters with a female staff as the others left for Valentine’s Day and we had sex.. I regretted and decided to move on But ever since that day 1) I’ve not been able to pray or study the word of God Like it’s not enough self Seeing this lady at work keeps making me get attracted to her more and more I’ve tried to pickup unnecessary fight, I’ve been sincere to her that we can’t be doing this and have to stop talking to each other but 2 hours later we are back to square one It’s beggining to affect my productivity like I feel a part of me is no longer there. N.B we’ve not had sex since that day but it’s not because we don’t want to but because we don’t have the time anymore and opportunity Please how do I stop and break free from this mess I’ve gotten myself into If I pray I feel like I’m wasting my time because my conscience keeps judging me The worst part is that when we talk we begin to talk about how attracted we are to each other but I know it’s the devils hand work and he is laughing at me now Please how do I stop this situationship before it’s too late If we didn’t have sex and we were close like this I wouldn’t mind Thank you |

Marioconsult:you went to school without getting educated. Getting attracted to someone is 100% natural. There's nothing you can do about it except you resign and cut off meeting this person. About your spiritual life, you need to understand that hospital is meant for the sick and not the healthy. Christ is there for the sinners not the righteous. If your righteousness is enough for you, you wouldn't need Christ nor do you need to pray. Right now is the best time for you to pray and pray because you can't help yourself. I don't know how you people got the idea that you are not actually worthy of his grace and love just because you fell into sin. Having said everything above, I want to inform you that you need to cut off your church and pastor from your life because you know next to nothing about the human infallibility 1 Like |

The first thing about engaging in fornication for a genuine christian is the guilt and the devil wants you to feel guilty and will use that guilt to keep you down and eventually cause more havoc. This is what the Scripture says... A broken heart and a contrite spirit the Lord will not forsake. Go to God in prayers, ask for mercy with a sincere heart and believe and have faith that the Lord has forgiven you. If you know your too attracted to the lady and can't be yourself around her, call the relationship quits and tell her. Don't get involved with her to the extent that your discussion will be what will draw you into sin if you don't how to exercise self control. Plead the redemption blood of Jesus on your conscience, heart and your thoughts for it's only the blood that can bring about purification. Those thoughts will come off and on but with time and if you exercise self control they will not hunt you anymore. Remember, the work of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy. Though the devil has succeeded in stealing your peace, that can be restored and already is when you ask God for forgiveness and you repent. Don't allow what follows after the steal to come upon you and everything you do now you should be intentional and focus on God through Christ Jesus. Good luck. |
