Antwan99:
Wow at the bold.

I don't know how people manage not to like or eat animal protein. But what makes us human; choices.

You might even be tasting meat but not often since you don't like it. But Gandhi till he died in 90s of age, never knew how meat tasted. But his was purely religious.
That's a huuuge lose, I hope he goes to heaven, otherwise it would be double huuuger lost. Imagine not knowing how meat tastes grin grin

Haha,

That's true.

I read his full autobiography of hundreds of pages. He said, in his elementary school, some kids always ridiculed him that without meat he will grow without pace and can't do certain tasks.

He almost succumbed to the pressure oncez when a kid brought meat to school so they can test in a hiding. He was at the scene but his mother's voice reechoed in his mind at the minute it was his turn so he declined and left. That's the closest he went with meat.

He studied Law in America but only ate in vegetarians' restaurant to avoid even meat juice. He never swallowed a pill or received injection as medication, even herbs; and only used traditional steam inhaling healing. Even the steam inhaling was because his sickness was much that people feared he was gonna die. His first time getting sick; this was in South Africa.

Highly principled man from childhood to death who wouldn't compromise for ANYTHING.

For the sake of Throwback Thursday, I made a snack I enjoyed eating during my childhood days.
I dunno if there's a name for it but I prepared it with garri, oil, grinded pepper, onions and crayfish.

Eating it brings back memories. grin
So delicious! cheesy

The last time I ate goat head was when i ate the eyes...it wasn't pleasant.
Eyes and tongue are my favorite part of meat. I relish that feeling of sucking the juice that comes out of the eyes. Same with fish.

Next time, puncture the eyes before cooking. You don't cook eyes rounded.

Then give it a try again.
