I noticed introvertion was becoming too sweet so I decided to visit an open bar. Well I chose an open bar because a friend had suggested that to me.
Cost me 700 or there about to get there on bike, so you can estimate how far it was from my house here in abeokuta 😂

When I got to the bar, I was welcomed by a relatively younger folk who asked me what I would like to have.
I told him I'd like to have a soft drink. He looked at me with a smile. I smiled back because I wasn't sure why he smiled. Perhaps because he didn't understand why I would come to an Open bar for a soft drink.

Well I stayed and started with a soft drink. While I was there another man in his early 50s or there about showed up and decided to share the same table with me.

I have always believed I was socially awkward and hardly anyone would share a sit with me at a bar. I guess I was wrong. The man greeted me and I responded. He complained about how things were so expensive and how he just came to the bar to cool his head off.

5 minutes into the conversation, baba called a lady 😂. I couldn't ascertain if the lady was a coworker or a mistress. Well, what's my business?
When she came, it became obvious she was a mistress.

There were some people, a group of guys at my back who were discussing about police and also local politics. It's as if my brain could process all the conversation in the bar.

Some people were discussing about football matches all. Some were talking about a piece of land they weren't sure about selling.

Then back to my Table, baba's mistress just arrived with some massive chest. She greeted me because she thought me and baba were together.
Seems baba has been in the game for long.

He quickly introduced me as a guy he met at the bar and how the discussion between us has been very interesting.

So I sat there oo, the Baba saw the his friend's son at the bar. He jokingly told the man he was going to pay for his drinks and thag of his heavy cheated mistress. The guy agreed.

The mistress kept asking Baba for time, baba kept looking at her with a long inquisitive face. I think that's because he was on the 3rd bottle already.
He asked the waitress for a 2 plates of cat fish.

He continued talking about life in the academic field and planning to retire next year. At this moment, every other discussion in the bar stopped entering my head.
I have have always thought about life at 50s but I have never given a thought about retirement

Its true at a point, we want to rest from several effort and ventures. I wonder how life gets after that, the future seems very close
