This deck player is what many Nigerian guys used to attract girls to their rooms on campus in the 90s. Then, if you had this as a guy on campus, you are a big boy. I remember how we used to blast Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., DMX, Eve, Mase, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, etc on our 5 loader deck. Nor be only that ooo, come to the Nigerian setting, we were blasting Plantashun Boys, Eedris Abdulkareem, Tony Tetuila, 2Fat and Lord of Ajasa of the Coded Tunes, etc.

Then it was every girl's dream on campus for her boyfriend to have this deck player.

From University of Benin to Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Ibadan, Uniport, university of Nigeria (UNN), Unizik, Delsu, LASU, Unilag, University of Abuja, Ambrose Alli University, Esut, etc, it was all the same.

I bet 80% of people on here don't know what a 'discman' is....there was nothing like personal/mobile internet access you went to a cybercafe and paid through your nose to browse on a desktop for one or two hours

These days na full wooden TV console...luxury 60x 60 tiles....pop with chandelier....4.5 by 6 bed and bed frame...65 inch hisense or LG TV and...sound bar...with 1.5hp dual inverter ac or 2 hp standing ac and a fridge full of food..with a nice Toyota...glk or lexus jeep or ES 350
