That Papa own is a whole scandal on its own. An entire commission of enquiry needs to be set up to investigate that particular choice alone.

Just read from a post from owngoal that papa daniel haven’t played for over 5 weeks in the NPFL and have been globetrotting in search of a club 🤦‍♀️
Believe owngoal at ur own detriment. That guy has been a constant K for Tornadoes. But it's criminal removing Uche and Onyeka from the list

Let's just focus on the upcoming game.

Yes, Frank Onyeka's exclusion is a shock. He was Nigeria's best MF at the last Afcon. But then, there is some truth in the fact that the MFs selected are better ball passers than Onyeka.
Even at that, none of them does the "water carrier" job in the middle better than Onyeka. Either they match him or come close or are far off.

The biggest shock for me is Christantus Uche not getting his first true main invite to the GWG. He is of a profile that we don't have in the Super Eagles. A yaya toure regen and will also serve us in the final third as a powerful CAM with physical presence and high technical quality. But I believe his time will come eventually this year.

Good to finally see Igoh Ogbu getting called up. We need him at the back. His invite brings the Omeruo/Awaziem CB eras to an end.

Alhassan Yusuf is a player many love to throw shades at but again he is as workaholic as Onyeka and Ndidi and has more on-the-ball quality than both of them. The only issue is his diminutive stature. A bit lightweight which makes him extra aggressive in duels to make up for his small stature and it sometimes gets him carded for rough tackles. I like him but he is a MF we can drop too.

Papa Daniel... a local lad who happens to be the best of the bunch among the CHAN Eagles Midfielders. Giving him a chance is not a bad move but if you ask me personally who I am dropping to accommodate both Uche and Onyeka in the list, Daniel will be one of them.

Papa Daniel, Aribo and Yusuf.

I will drop 2 out of these 3 to bring in Uche and Onyeka.

In all, the list is the list. Chelle has finally revealed the first layer of his shell. Picking his first 11 is the next layer to unveil.

Soon, the shell over Chelle's introductory tactical approach for this team will fall off and we will know for sure.

Again, let's just focus on the upcoming game.

Wait is it not same Alhasan that people are hailing up and down and wishing he returns quickly from injury during our first games at afcon?

So because he is playing for MLS now he is suddenly not good again. And yet we couldn't beat the Rwandan teams packed with local and division 2 players in our last match with our so called big 'european' guns..

Omo let's allow the coach do his job biko. Everybody cannot be in the list... He has chosen players that will suit his tactics and that is how coaching should be.

Another person I don't just like seeing on SE color is that Sadiq. He's not a SE player! He does not have the DNA. No matter how high chicken flies, it cannot be an eagle. And as Kog45 will bear witness, there are many attackers who score loads of goals for their clubs but were perennial flops in GWG.

It even irks me whenever he scores and the info is posted here. He creates confusion. He should just go.
Guy it's like our mind work alike, I've never seen that guy as a good footballer, I've tried within me to take away the bias towards him but it just won't go away 😂 😂

I think they are using the national team to hawk their players, from Temu abi Taminu to Papa. After inviting him for like 2 or 3 games, he will be dropped for another shitty player.

As much as everyone knows NFF's hands is on that list, none of them have no excuses if we fail. even if we list home based players only, we should play to win both games. grin

In the first leg, it was Alisson. In the second leg, it is DONNARUMMA. GKs are huge determinants in Game outcomes.

But overall, PSG deserves it. Liverpool escaped them in the first leg but couldn't escape them in the 2nd leg.

The better team qualifies and SALAH WAS KEPT QUIET IN BOTH GAMES. Nuno Mendes deserves his flowers.

this PSG team is better than the previous ones assembled. They play more as a unit than that of Neyma, mbappe and Messi

Sorry for the people dropped...

Opportunity for the new call ups...

At this very moment, I'm not marrying any player or anything...

Whosoever gets called on the pitch should just come and play and win. 6 points.

Abi na Sadiq or papa Daniel or igor ogbu, Sha score and let's win first. After the 2 winnings we can now look who deserve where or not.

We seriously need a WW and with Osimhen/Lookman/moses fit and ready, I have no fear.
Let's go 💪💪🇳🇬🇳🇬

1. Osimhen in psg will be simply wonderful.
2. Psg has finally evolved tge winning mentality needed to win the champions league. To win this kind of competition, uou need courage, persistence mire than sheer talent. You might even play badly and win. Psg now have that winning mentality.

This list ehn
They just gonna stress Osimhen tbh
You have ball hustlers with extra lungs like Chrisantus Uche & Frank Onyeka , you didn’t invite them
At 80th minute I can’t wait to see the changes coach would make if we need a goal & time is running out
Rwanda believe they can get something from us because they won in Nigeria
Osimhen would play possibly 160 minutes of the 2 games

You’re right. Atalanta still have Juve, Lazio, Roma, Inter, Fiorentina and Milan to play.

But if they approach all those matches as cup finals, they can win. They’ve already had a run of games where they won 11 games straight. They have to replicate that form now.

I think Napoli vs Inter will be a draw. Inter still have the Coppa Italia and UCL to play in so their squad depth will be seriously tested.
Bologna is no joke too

To all the people that think EPL is the best league in the world
Your EPL champions got knocked out by a French club
EPL just has the media money, many people on the globe speak English more than Spanish
I say this countless times, La Liga is the best league in the world
In the last 25 years count times the Spanish teams that have won UCL & UEL, you’d see it’s more than English, Italian or German clubs
Facts only

Frank Onyeka's overall game of passing is ahead of Joe Aribo's.
Frank Onyeka's forward runs will definitely affect his number of short passes and their precision, but even at that his numbers are good.
Frank Onyeka's long balls, crosses, etc are better than Joe Aribo's.

Whatever reasons that informed Eric Chelle's preferences will be manifest when we see his style of football.
