Hello, for those that moved to Ireland this year, how much in euro did you show as living expenses? I plan to only show only 10,000 euro in my sponsor Nigeria account. Will that work? My agent is saying I should put like 15,000 euro in the account |

Moonstarr:Because of naira -> euro exchange rate, try to show more than 10,000 euro. 10,000 euro is the minimum required for one year of study so your agent is probably suggesting 15,000 so you can show you have extra / a buffer amount. Approximately 12,000 euro is good |

Hello, I'm planning on moving to Ireland for my Master's programme by September, but I have a challenge with proof of funds, as my sponsor isn't related to me; however, he is a co-founder of a company based in Europe, and he believes that 1. His company can sponsor me and provide SOA, 2. I'm also trying to understand if I can leverage Edubond if the first option isn't feasible. Do you have any advice on what to do? PS: I haven't received an admission yet, but I'm trying to secure all the information for a seamless process. @segunagagu |

Pls I need some advice on my visa application. My situation is a bit complicated, and my agent hasn’t really given me any solid guidance. I’m applying for a long-stay student visa for my Master’s in Dublin (16-month program). I’ve already paid €6,000 to the school. For proof of funds, we plan to show around ₦48 million, maybe a bit more by the time we print the statement. Just want to be sure if this amount is okay. My dad (my sponsor) had been saving money in my brothers child account. The agent told us to move it to my dad’s account to avoid complications, so we moved everything in early March. I plan to submit my visa application in late May or early June, meaning the money will have been in his account for about three months. Will this raise any red flags? |

mrmarioblack:Your sponsor will need concrete , genuine proof of how he came about the funds; why the funds was sent into someone else account before and why the funds is being transferred now. The flow of funds is complicated , but explaining and providing more than enough proof will be required. |
