Chief Obasanjo 'spent' $12 billion on power, yet power generation barely increased throughout his administration and for a few years afterwards. Most of the so-called $12 billion was clearly stolen by his then PDP appointees. PDP can't lecture anyone about corruption. |

If not for bad belle why should anybody be unhappy with such a laudable and giant stride in our road infrastructural drive. It is going to be one of the best in African continent ... But like the yoruba used to say ; we know an elder may not be correct but our culture reserves him the right of respect . Like Dave Umahi like Rotimi Amaechi - use and dump. Lagos-Calabar coastal highway is a hurried project to benefit only the southwest region. It's aimed at easy siphoning of the oil and gas riches of the southsouth to the southwest. |

Pa. Obasanjo has every right to query projects with huge allocations and funding in the face of more pressing economic and security challenges. Buhari's people insulted those that queried the Billions spent on railways back then...! Today, what can we say are the returns on such infrastructures?!!
