Unless FIFA bans the age grade repeat thing, Nigeria no go stop.

That's the sad truth.
Or we have another Maigari run the NFF who believes in thorough search for talents.

It's really heartwarming seeing the bond Osimhen has built with the Galatasary fans not just through his impressive on field performances but also touching moments of interactions with supporters off the pitch.

Some might not be overly swayed by Victor's exploits this season because of the low rating of the Turkish league but to miss a whole month of league football and still go and be topping the league no be beans. Osimhen's performances in Europe say that much.

Pray his exploits transfer to the game against Rwanda. We badly need a result in Kigali.

Dude is happy in turkey and that’s what matters. Made a good decision in leaving Napoli.

If a player is under the age limit he should be allowed to play. There is no competitive reason to stop someone under the age limit from participating. Our concern should be if the player is good enough.

I can't wait for Friday badly enough. Birthday on Monday... Rwanda game on Friday... My Man, I am pumped!

Time for Chelle to pick Warriors from the start. Warriors who will deliver. We have no time for indecisions.

If you don't fight for every ball, run for every ball, you will not f**king play!

If we are making USCAMEX 2026 WC, that is the Mentality Chelle must stick to.

That word WARRIORS! which is why I'm baffled at how Chelle didn't invite Onyeka but that's a discussion for another day.

Like you said we need fighters who will be ready to give everything on the pitch so Chelle your work is cut out.

Happy Birthday in advance doc!

Everything you posted I agree with.

As per external influence, shebi we dey here when former DSS boss Bichi put hin son for U-17 squad

It is well
Don't mind those ones. They feel cos of their power, there must be a slot everywhere for them waiting, not minding the sacrifice, sweat, travails and struggles of those that came so close only to be dropped for temporary benefits. Plus this Quota system that's never seeing one part in majority.

I hope we get back to raw talent search without all that Chrisantus and co levels.

It beats my imagination why Akwa Ibom State government have refused to install a digital advert board at the Uyo stadium after all these years.... Even when the stadium hosted CAF confederation cup final and AFL, it didn't have a digital advertising board ...surely, it can't be that expensive to install.....

Victor Osimhen has now scored 8 goals in his last 5 league games! 🎯

Funny how someone here was saying out of 5 goals against Rizespor when Osimhen made his debut, he couldn't score one... Now 85% of Galatasaray's goals in their last 10-15 games has been scored by him alone.

He was subbed off at 68 minutes yesterday at 4–0 and that match ended that way. No additional goal(s). If he took that penalty himself, that would mean that he alone scored all four goals! 😤

Make una dey know who una go dey doubt sometimes, Osimhen is not one of them! 😎

Here are the top 10 highest goal scorers from the top 10 leagues worldwide! 😇

Arteta will look at this your list now and still find a way not to buy a forward in the summer.

Happy birthday.

As per the match, we'll know how serious the players are from how early they arrive in camp,

Shebi na Saturday & Sunday dem go play for their clubs? I do not expect any player to arrive in camp later than Tuesday.

The stakes are high, and the players must be laser focused and approach the matches with all seriousness.

TheGoodJoe:

I have the belief that there are always quality talents lying around if we just have an unbiased way of scouting and selecting.

Imagine if Babawo Mohammed did not pass the street he saw Mikel Obi playing on, we might not have had Mikel Obi. Same with hearing Coach Monday Sinclair saw Pius Ikedia playing on a school field and helped network him.

What we need to do is increase our scouting network and we will unearth talents that can be better than Osimhen.

Unfortunately, the short sightedness of those walking the corridors of our football are not helping matters.
I think the academies are already doing à lot in this regard because they want to make money. However, the downside is, they are too much in a haste to make money and ship out players prématurely and to wrong places. If there can be à good framework to ensure players are not been shipped out to wrong places for pitance, perhaps we can better harness the talents we have.

The notion that we don't develop talent is overrated. In the last 3 years these players have come to the fore.
1. Babatunde akinsola
2. Ebenezer akinsanmiro
3. Hamzat ojediran
4. Victor orakpo
5. Hafeez umar
6. Gift orban who was discovered I nigeria
7. Daniel daga
8. Victor eletu
9. A certain midfielder named Dennis in the Turkish league.
We are not bad as per discovering players. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. At least something tangible is going on. Ot could be better but we are trying. As you said they should not be too much in a hurry to leave for obscure leagues.
Anyway, I learnt victor udoh May make his debut for Southampton this week

See this is the exact issue I have with some Nigerian football fans. Our girls are playing South Africa in a World Cup qualifier and people are in the stadium clapping for both sides. Is this how we watch our European sides? I understand if someone does something so incredible like Ronaldo against Juventus but just clapping because of a dribble is garbage.
