at least, you will always miss something about your homeland, everywhere you go
Except for Parents and Siblings nothing else, hence the reason I strive to relocate them gradually. Never had tight friendship with my colleagues that would make me visit and most of my colleagues have Japaed too.
I visit them in the 🇬🇧 and 🇨🇦.
70% of my Exs are in diaspora already.
I'm still thinking...🤔🤔🤔🤔

what about the food

What about the way the country is governed the bad way and also the lawless way

Apart from family, there will be something you always miss about your homeland

Whether bad or good

grin grin Things I will miss about Nigeria are:
1. Absence of Earthquakes which are often catastrophic.
2. Absence of Extremely Unpredictable Storm Generating Air Depression which is the mother of Hurricanes, Typhoons,Cyclones, which wreck tremendous destruction of lives and properties.
3.Absence of Tectonic Seismic activity hotspots in the earth layers which breed and sustain Volcanoes,Lava fissures which are great destroyers of life.
These also generate tsunamis another terrible life exterminator along coastal areas.
4. Absence of religion which brings death in mass during festivals and ceremonies like what we have in India and Pakistan.
Though we have Islamic terrorism.
Am not surprised about India because one of their chief deities is Shiva, god of Destruction, symbolised by the cobra.
5. Absence of sick mass shooters who would barge in unexpectedly in a public space filled with people and deliver death by bullets or knives.

My house is the headquarters of Naija Food.
Well meaning Nigerians visit my house to eat Naija food.
I make Suya, Roasted plantains at home.
I eat everything people eat in Nigeria.
Except for Fresh Palmwine.

May be these two things.
I have always asked travelers to purchase them for me in robust quantities
Of all the Toothbrushes we have in the U.S. as funny as it may sound, this one beats them for me.
The KS Toothbrush, I think made in Enugu state.
Then Neopresol made in Ogun state.
These products are wonderful.

where will you get the insults that you miss insults when driving on the road if you dont experience this

you want to miss 1. The food, especially goat meat pepper soup.
2. Traffic drama, "Ogun kill your papa", "werey, enter make I see na", "what are you driving?", "who give you motor to drive, idiot!" but you say you dont miss the environment where it takes place?

how is that possible?
Experiencing a thing is different from missing it.
I also experienced frequent periods of power outages. Doesn't mean I miss it.
Same way I experienced traffic jams and swearing by other drivers. I miss the swearing but don't miss the jams.
If you don't get it, just fogerrabourit!!

@bolded, exactly, but how do you pull that off??!!
Most Nigerians abroad can hardly afford coming home once a year, talkless of to be comming and going and maintaining two residencies!
Also, for various reasons (including "laziness"} people tend to stay where they've made their home. So you can discount the bolded - ain't happening!

He's finally not writing about women. And really, he has nothing else to write about. His article was so boring from point 1 that I had to scroll to know if it was him. I was not disappointed.

Journalist indeed.

A pot soup in UK abi Nigeria?
You can earn in gbp and spend in naira.
Your argument and comparison is offside.

Mindlog:
Food is cheaper when you compare to income.

Minimum wage earner here in the UK can cook a pot of soup with an hour wage.

Then you are a big fatal liar because minimum hourly wage can never cook a pot of soup in the UK.
Infact, u have never been to the UK.

See Talk.
The truth is, you fear approaching them.
Those White and Latina Girls cherish you (blackman) everyday. They want to know what it takes to have a black man inside of them.
They just want you to be less aggressive, and ambitious.
