Never because they see those as beneath them. It is always Lagos and SW States, for obvious reasons, they try to compete with and downgrade. Classic behaviour of those who suffer from feelings of inferiority complex against others as Igbos harbour for Yorubas who are silent achievers with that fact even adding to their pain tenfold.

With human beings, the people we speak about daily and non-stop are those we are fascinated and/or obsessed with. Nairalanders should work out why Igbos daily engagement with others online must always be malevolently about Yorubas.

Can't they celebrate Anambra's positive achievements without claiming she is overtaking Lagos specifically when Nigeria has 36 States and an FCT?

Sorry about your fears, but they’re irrelevant to me. I’m barely 50, and I made my forecast in good faith not that I need anyone’s approval. I don’t hate Lagos, and frankly, that paranoia is laughable.

Forecasting is as old as mankind. In religion, it’s called prophecy. In business, it’s a forecast. In the informal world, it’s just a prediction. Call it whatever you like,it changes nothing.

Every serious company, country, institution, and military force on the planet operates on forecasts. They don’t sit around waiting for reality to slap them in the face. They plan, they predict, they execute. That’s how power moves. If you don’t understand that, you’re already behind.

It's a good development but nothing much to celebrate yet until the federal govt agrees to give at least 70% of the oil proceeds to host states not the partry 13% they are currently getting.

They know Southeast states should be among the 2nd and 3rd oil producing states because a lot of oil fields were intentionally abandoned in Imo and Abia states for decades just to sabotage Southeast and to make it seem like Southeast has nothing to offer to Nigeria and to also make it impossible for Biafra agitators to use the crude oil sabotage as a bargaining chip to hold Nigeria down like Niger Delta militants do.
