Education is education, be it formal or informal.

If I'm a professor in nano technology or physics and I believe that one's destiny can be stolen by them sitting on a particular chair, then it's just my belief. It has nothing to do with the vast knowledge I have acquired in my field. And if I'm an illiterate that has never seen the 4walls of any school and I don't belive that if I bury egg in my compound, it will catch a thief, it's also my belief and mindset over things like that.

I got your point. What I'm adding to what you said is that lack of education is not the reason some people belive in such things.

Everything boils down to the values and ethics of the society..

-Political leaders rig elections to win.
-Justice is no longer found in the judiciary.
-Lawmmakers are now the greatest lawbrakers.
-Executive rascality instead of rule of law..
-Elites looting and padding budgets for selfishness.
-Unmerrited wealth by those in position of power..

Everything is a consequence of leadership failure in the society. You cannot plant cassava and harvest cocoyam..Dont blame the youth only, blame the morally rotten elders.
