Senator Godswill Akpabio has his shortcomings, no doubt. However, Akwa Ibom people and a few reasonable Nigerians will forever be grateful to him for his intimidating job he did as state governor.
He really tried by Nigeria standards
When compared his performance against the revenue available to him, I can only rate him 40%

It is indeed a nice project, Akpabio really done well in Akwa Ibom, and he is also doing well as Senate president. Don't mind the lie lie Natasha who will continue to cry all over the world.
Akpabio don nack the Natasha woman but he no fulfil his promise hence her rebellion.. the only stupidity on her part was not gathering evidence against him.

Akpabio in all his shortcomings had signature projects which can also improve the revenue of Akwa Ibom state unlike the frog voice, power merchant, greedy Wike whose projects were determined by the percentage that will line his pocket.

What were they expecting when Mugabe was seizing white lands.

South Africa is the next Zimbabwe in that region.
Does the land belong to the whites in the first place? With your slave mentality.

I didn't know there are people that still have sense in this country. I thought tribal sentiments has completed eroded the truth. I don't know why great performers are being demonized and those who clearly failed are being promoted to high heavens based on pure ethnic sentiments.

I was in Uyo during Attah and know how terrible the state was, compared to Calabar that was a haven during Donald Duke. Akpabio changed all that, and even this Wike we are talking about confessed that he learnt infrastructural development from Akpabio. Udom built on consolidated on Akpabio's performance. Most of these Genz's who were still wearing diapers then are busy here promoting unbelievable lies.

Today if you are ranking the top 5 most beautiful cities in Nigeria, Abuja comes first, followed by Uyo, Port Harcourt, Enugu & Lagos. A lot of people will argue, but I think these cities have better road networks, and are more organised than Lagos.

Maybe Zimbabwe’s coach is just buttering up the Super Eagles ahead of the match, or could it be that President Tinubu’s investments in top-tier facilities are already paying off in more ways than one?
In a stadium built by Akpabio and has been in use years before Tinubu's ascendancy? Some of you simply do not have a functional brain. I am ashamed of sharing a forum with your type.

The land has industrialised farming feeding the entire country. They seized it and went hungry and the Zimbabwean dollar ceased to be a legal tender.

Meanwhile black zimbebeans are still farming with sticks and shovel just like you human vomit.

Uneducated human cockroach like you had never read anything in your entire worthless life except Nairaland sports section.

The cleaning and maintenance culture of Akwa Ibom is superb, it is what has kept the stadium and the state at large in a good condition always, despite the successive governments.

Please they should keep it up(including their neighboring brother Cross River or Calabar)
Akpabio signed a 10yrs maintenance agreement with
julius berger after they finished building the stadium I hope the akwa ibom state govt will renew it after expires.

Not only the sporting facilities that will receive a rub. The local hospitality and tourism sectors are major beneficiaries of the FIFA free weeks with some hotels and restaurants raking in a forex equivalent to their annual income over a match weekend.

This all goes to show that development is integrated and can be made organic by good vision. For how come Abuja with all it's administrative acumen and Lagos with all it's commercial power cannot hold down the top sporting event of the season, the FIFA free week.
