My study permit application was refused yesterday. So sad about it. The VO said " your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself". And that they're not satisfied I'll leave Canada after my studies. My agent submitted all the required documents from my sponsor (brother), which includes his company account, Cac, building property evaluation, tax clearance, birth certificate and ID cards and also attached my own personal bank account statement which does not have enough money in it. Please what can I do about this inorder to see if I can reapply and defer my admission to September intake? Thanks. |

Kaykaychizzy:Your own acct should be holding atleast your first year living expenses and travel cost. |

zubizareta:What if one’s personal account is not tendered , I am a thirty year old sponsored by my dad , I applied on March 13 |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by zubizareta(m): 3:17am On Mar 30, 2025 |
Crownpoint:Hmmmm. You will be needing miracle to happen at this point to be honest. It was a wrong move. Well, just wait and get your decision letter. Not submitting your personal acct or not having sufficient funds in your personal acct to cover atleast your one year living expenses and travel cost could get the VO doubting your accessibility and availability of the funds declared in your sponsor's acct. Also, VO could deem it that you aren't economically established in your home country |

Kaykaychizzy:So sorry to hear this. Order gcms note. If you can, pay at least first semester tuition if you haven't already and reapply. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Kaykaychizzy: 10:51am On Mar 30, 2025 |
zubizareta:Thank you for your response. Can my sponsor transfer some of the funds to cover for my first year living expenses and travel cost to my personal account in 3 or 4 tranches and maybe he will use a letter to back that up? (I don't know what to call the letter) which I'll submit along with my personal bank statement. Is this okay? Thanks |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Kaykaychizzy: 10:54am On Mar 30, 2025 |
Zihno:Thank you. Yes I will order for the gcms note (although I heard it takes time to get it) and I paid 9k CAD already for my first semester tuition as required by the school, which all documents was uploaded and submitted. I'm going to reapply for September intake. |

Kaykaychizzy:Yes he can. And you do a gift deed for the total amount sent to you. Then also write a sponsorship letter from your sponsor |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Zihno: 11:18am On Mar 30, 2025 |
Kaykaychizzy:9k? Wow! |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Kaykaychizzy: 12:08pm On Mar 30, 2025 |
zubizareta:Thank you so much for this advice and I'll definitely act on them. I'll inform him to transfer some funds for the living expenses and travel costs to my personal account and also do a gift deed for the total amount sent to me. He initially wrote a sponsorship letter which was submitted with the rejected application. God bless you 🙏 |

1. The document is dependent on your family profile. 2. You don't need travel or health insurance. 3. Proof of funds should cover the entire family and also the duration of the program. 4. Yes, you will need to demonstrate home ties to your home country IBILEmayweather: |

Thanks quote author=Bobomaigida post=134578099] You need to convince the VO that the ties that you have in your home country are enough to bring you back, ties can include your job, your extended families, your assets and other associations and clubs you belong to.[/quote] |

Your application is weak and you wasted your money to an agent. Studying in Canada, you need to read all the threads and understand how to apply. No sorry for you becau3e you will not do well in Canada if at this age you are relying on an agent. Kaykaychizzy: |

If yoj dont have a job. No income and you are above 22 years old going for bahcelors, you are just wasting your money on visa fee. If your parents aint sponsoring you and you lack financial previledge from you govt sit back and look else where. Canada will continue to deny those that dont want to think out of the box. Hello guys I’d like to make an enquiry or so to say, a confirmation on an agency that’s been working on Canadian study visa applications. The agency is MDC Canada , I don’t know there is anyone here who has used/heard/has anyone that has used them. I have made some payment and communication has been good, now before completing payment I just thought I should make clarification again as I started doubting based on what I have experienced with scammers. So far, I have visited the Canadian government website to confirm that the account manager assigned to me is actually a licensed professional and I have messaged him through his LinkedIn account on the website, he confirmed to me through a call from his department that the representative that’s working on my application is indeed legit but as a person who has been a victim I just want to make every necessary clarification. Please does anyone know the steps I can take to strongly clear my doubts before making complete payment for them to continue with the processing as they have said? Thank you sir/ma |

Sakataiwo:Whilst they made be genuine, there is no guarantee that they can get an approval for you, just hope for the best. |

Hello. I need help with the error message I get each time I try to upload my application. It tells me my form is invalid. Please can you help?? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Viewoliver: 6:31am On Apr 01, 2025 |
Is the error message for upload of application or document? Be specific and if possible attach a screenshot of the upload and error message so that people can help you. Finally, what kind of application, study permit or visitor's visa? Chiinny: |

Please, I would appreciate your honest opinion. I’ve received two MSc offers: one from Carleton University (Migration Studies, which includes a graduate assistantship offer and $4,000 in funding) and another from the University of Manitoba (Peace and Conflict Studies, 6,500. No Graduate assistant offer). Based on factors like location, cost of living, and overall experience, which university would you recommend I choose? I plan to move with my husband and children. |

Frank8989:I submitted my application to Alberta since November 2024, no response yet. I reached out to the graduate advisor and he said that their decision is usually made around late March/early April. |
