If you don't have money to do fetal genotype to know whether to abort or not don't try it. The test of fetal genotype ranges from 2m to 3.5 million, if the test confirms SS one can abort but if not the pregnancy can proceed. How many Nigerians can afford this?

I know a couple who are both AS. Whenever their pregnancy gets to a certain stage, they check d genotype of the baby to prevent having SS. Their plan was to abort any baby with SS genotype upon checking. So far, they already had two babies but I understand checking d genotype is quite expensive.
