So Abeg guys who gym or use it to add weight how una Dey cope what’s the alternative. Let’s help each others each share what you use that works as effective as the foreign powder O. To build muscles can be quite expensive. Normal proteinous foods should suffice and can be cheaper on the long run when compared to protein powder. Their prices are not funny nowadays.
Below is the one I make use of. I get them from a well recognised pharmacy. It is 78k. One of the "cheapest" around for its size and quality.

Bro, can't someone get the same amount for protein, carbs and even more from foods, healthy balance diet?

Which it is in fact, would cost less money?

Well what I do is to check out the total amount of proteins in the container, then estimate the amount in the scoops that I'd take each day.
Then I look for a natural food alternative with similar quantity of proteins and compare the prices of both. For me, I compared with eggs and found eggs to be way cheaper and have more proteins than I'd get from a scoop if whey proteins. Also eggs have high bioabsorbabilty. I'd eat like 6eggs a day for 5 days a week and that would not cost up to 40k a month. Only issue is, if you're in your 40's or late 30's I wouldnt recommend the egg stuff

You children are weird in this forum. Fitness has no defined rules. For people who consume soccer a lot, I’m surprised no one asks how to look like Neymar. Patronize soccer fields in your locality and exercise frequently. You don’t need any more than that.

Damn almost 80k. Crazy. Yes protein would but am skinny and want quick boost where I can see results and I did try the powder before this Tinubu era saw some nice gains before I dropped it due to some other reasons. But I’ll check for this if I don’t find any cheaper solution thanks. 🙏

Yes you can O. My case and for most people using powder is for a quick boost. You see results sooner because of excess protein load. Im really skinny if you see me you go think say I no Dey chop something like this would help in my case. Other than that if you can eat balanced with enough protein also good.

Ohh wow thanks. I had eggs in mind already like taking enough a day. Because of the high calorie in them. And not in my 30s yet so am safe.

I know so. But powder helps with quick gains especially if you are really skinny.

That is why they are taken as "supplements". They complement real protein foods. The advantage of this protein powder is that they are absorbed faster by the body than most protein asides from egg whites (albumen).

It is very likely you are an ectomorph. You need to go hard on clean carbs and healthy fats consumption as well as rich protein foods. You need to bulk-up. Then you must do basically compound exercises when you are in gym.
