Westbrook gotta hang it up man. A ring not for everybody. You just can't rely on him to ever do the right thing in a close game. 17 seasons in the league this is who he is |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:20am On Apr 02, 2025 |
Typical Westbrook: smokes an open layup that could have sealed the game, then moments later fouls a 3-pt shooter which essentially lost them the game ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:24am On Apr 02, 2025 |
birdman:It was a close game though. It could've gone either way. Second leg dey come. Make we see wetin Villain Brooks go cook this time. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 6:47am On Apr 02, 2025 |
Jokic has a 60 point triple double and the Nuggets still cannot beat this mediocre timberwolves team. Gotta be Jazz at this point. Cos the wolves ain't even beating the inconsistent warriors.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:03am On Apr 02, 2025 |
Skrrrrrrr:That's why I said it might be mental. I don't see anything special about this T.Wolves team yet somehow they are 4-0 vs the Nuggets. 2 of the wins via blowout |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 10:25am On Apr 02, 2025 |
Why you all talk Wolves vs Nuggets, the best part of the night is Grizzlies losing guard. E go too long. Na 8th position I dey see for them so. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 2:15pm On Apr 02, 2025 |
greypencils:Lol..losing guard as how? They lost to a better team and they actually put up a good fight, they were trailing by 15 points in the first, before kerr started his nonsense two team rotation and they came back, and even led at some point..... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 2:23pm On Apr 02, 2025 |
Skrrrrrrr:Bro, have you checked the remaining games Clippers and Wolves have to play? They are easy games man. 6th position no even sure for Warriors at this point with the tough games left for them. Like I said, Grizz might end the regular season at the 8th position. Very dangerous considering the fact that they most likely would be facing Mavs and a healthy AD in the playin. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 2:33pm On Apr 02, 2025 |
Roland17:Brodie's genetic agidi works against him in such situations. He does everything with ishan and lacks finesse. It is not really that he is stupid but that he just wanna prove......ALL THE TIME. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:45pm On Apr 02, 2025 |
afrodoc2:Hahahahaa. The Nuggets did not need that bucket, they needed to run the clock down. If he made the bucket, he is giving the Wolves possession and another chance to tie the game with 10 seconds to go. His intelligence was poor in that instance and kind of reminded me of JR Smith during game 1 of the 2018 finals. But to your point, the compulsion to prove made him lose his sense of awareness, making him attempt a bucket that wasn't necessary. It was a bone head decision. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 4:03pm On Apr 02, 2025 |
greypencils:Nothing sure for anybody. The warriors have the capacity to win the remaining games. Considering what's at stake, if them lose guard, na them sabi... Let's first see how they fare against the Lakers.. |

Congratulations to Melo on getting elected into the hall of fame. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:42am On Apr 04, 2025 |
No AD to bully Golden State. Hmmm Lopsided free throw advantage gone Austin Reaves is a baller though. Very dangerous guy This Warriors na one kin strange team. Na Podz decide to cook today. Jimmy Butler just aura farming. 19-2 now but you can't really see wetin he dey play. Playoffs will ultimately decide if the Warriors have been scammed but it just feels like his addition propelled this team mentally. It's hard to place a finger on it. Don't look now but the Warriors are a game and a half from 3rd seed. If they beat the Nuggets things will get pretty interesting |

God abeg, I need everyone healthy next week Wednesday when Luka returns to Dallas . |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 5:48am On Apr 04, 2025 |
A40:I was just about to type this, free throws have been the major difference between both teams AD was the advantage. With AD gone, that advantage is gone.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:53am On Apr 04, 2025 |
Skrrrrrrr:If you're a Warriors fan you like what you saw. Lakers started fast but that middle of 1st quarter to half time the Warriors had the clamps on Withstood the 4th quarter blitz too. No AD means Lakers have to actually make their shots now. He was such a mismatch and with him gone the Lakers room for error against a small team like yours is reduced. Y'all even outrebounded them |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 6:07am On Apr 04, 2025 |
A40:Yup |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 9:35am On Apr 04, 2025 |
A40:No teàm fit give me high BP Walahi. You pray and work towards success at the same time leaving a little room for failure. That way, if failure happens, you are resilient and willing to try again. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 9:42am On Apr 04, 2025 |
A40:It is those intangibles that you can't see that matter in BBall. Jimmy's presence implies that Curry has more freedom than before. You can't successfully clamp down Curry and Butler without leaving a 3rd man to do damage. Previously, there was no other force apart from Curry to worry about. Right now, you have to worry about both of them. Jimmy didn't get to three ECFs, winning 2 in 4 years for nothing. |

Nico Harrison, come and carry your Luka abeg. We don't want again ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:16am On Apr 04, 2025 |
But last last, this was a game of pride for the Warriors. They couldn't have allowed the Lakers to sweep them 4-0 this season. And when your entire bench scores 7 points, you're going to lose. By and large, I still think the two teams are evenly matched. I felt that way before the trade deadline, and I feel that way after the trade deadline. It will all come down to coaching and who wants it more. |

Damn. Dem swear for you ni? @birdman you see your fellow Le(4-6) fan)? What else can this be if not an excuse? Dem never even play Ooo, but 'oh, it can only be the coach'. Him no go even wait. It's become instinctive. steady986: |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 2:12pm On Apr 04, 2025 |
steady986:You no dey shame to type these things? A Team with lebron and Luka with reaves, who is arguably the best 3rd option in the league, is evenly matched with the warriors, because of Butler? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Kibbs(m): 5:45pm On Apr 04, 2025 |
benji93:That warriors team is evenly matched with your GOAT, Luka and ‘best third option in basketball’ Austin Reaves? Wear small shame Your underdog scam don cast, now you don shift goal post to evenly matched. Upeh |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 9:03pm On Apr 04, 2025 |
Ja morant is just gonna ruin his career. 3 years ago, you were arguably the best young guard in the league after Luka. Then you did a lot of really stupid shit and got suspended. Now you have been leapfrogged by Shai, Anthony edwards and haliburton. The jury isn't out yet on Jalen green and le melo. The league is moving so fast and has no regard for cameos. You'd be forgotten soon. |

If there's any set of fans that make excuses for their team, it's Warriors fans. I've never seen such type of fans before. Even when they're on a 20-2 run since trading for Jimmy. Even when they have Steph who just dropped 53. Even when they have a HOF coach who has won 4 championships. Even when half of their roster has been to at least one NBA finals. Even when their team is top 10 in defensive ratings. Even when they have Draymond Green who is a former DPOY and is a leading candidate to win it this year. It's not enough for them. To them, the team that should win it is the one with a 40 year old LeBron whom they have openly criticized for being a liability on defense. The team whose co star is also a liability on defense and has been shooting 41% from the field since being traded. The team that has no legit center. The team that has a rookie head coach. Is it not ment? |

Kibbs:I dont understand. In one breath you say he is not the goat. In another breath, you say he must be the goat. Can you just choose one |
| Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 5:02am On Apr 05, 2025 |
Westbrook should retire at this point. The amount of turnover that bredda gives away by loose control alone is beyond counting |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:15am On Apr 05, 2025 |
Give Steph his 5th ring if Podziemski is going to cook like this |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 5:26am On Apr 05, 2025 |
Omoh. The Nuggets are so reliant on Jokic, it's almost unhealthy. Infact they are more reliant on Jokic than the warriors are to steph.... They do nothing right without him.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:38am On Apr 05, 2025 |
Ovy ties the record for the most goals scored all time against my Blackhawks. I saw the game and didn’t feel bad because man deserves. He also refused an empty net offered by the Blackhawks to pass the record, which is classy. The interesting part of it is that he played 1 game less than GOAT Gretzky to tie the record. |
