The truth is in Anambra politics LP and APGA are same people. Local politics APGA federal LP/OBI, due to zoning arrangements APGA will always win
Zoning arrangement continues with Abambra south. Soludo is making waves all over, particularly the state capital. The transformation of Ekwulobia is very impressive. The bridge, the bottom, the market and bus terminal, everywhere looks good. I wonder if this is the Ekwulobia that we knew either in year 2000 or year 2020. The security law, the roads, infrastructures coming up, education, health and social infrastructure. I think that if given another four years, Anambra will have much more beautiful with Soludo.

I think that Soludo would have to make some little bargain with LP to expand his chances more. In all, I do not envisage a Soludo loss.

Don't forget Ifeanyi Ubar won his senate seat with YPP and later decamp to APC. Do you think he would have won the senate if he was in APC?
I think he possibly would have won. Do not forget that YPP was a relatively unknown party and Ifeanyi Ubah had taken calculated steps to rise the political ladder. Decamping to APC was calculated to give him better leverage and position him for the Governorship seat. I definitely did not believe that he had the chances of winning the Governorship seat on the platform of APC. He could not have won, but he could possibly win the Senate seat on the APC platform.

Governor Peter Mbah is a very greedy and wicked man. As a leader of PDP in the whole of South East region why can't he purchase form for PDP aspirants in Anambra State.
Can't he organize a fund raising event with his influence?

If sick Nollywood actors can raise money for treatment then what stops the paper weight Governor from raising funds
Our governor is a smart man.

Valentine all the way.

He will win ticket, but will likely loose to CCS

CCS is a good friend of the Abuja family and he has shown some workings, so his second term is secured.

Strategy for APC is to use Val to build momentum for 2027. If Val is patient and works hard, he will be politically rewarded.
Ppl will stay in their brown roof n be analyzing what will happen in anambra State....
As long as val is in APC he has absolutely no chance, after this election he will definitely go into total oblivion.....

No way, no hope for APC in Anambra state. No Okorocha or Supreme Court matter there.

There are two mountains to climb which APC cannot do. The mountains are Professor Chukwuma Soludo / APGA and Mr. Peter Obi /LP.

So far, Soludo has been putting the round pegs in the round holes, but he has Labour Party to watch out for and not APC. The moment APC lost the late Ifeanyi Ubah, their best candidate who could have won his Senatorial zone was lost.

Labour Party controls reasonable chunk of Anambra state, even as APGA is in power. The two parties enjoy massive support, having completely relegated PDP. Valentine Ozigbo could have ridden on the popularity of Peter Obi to make his chances brighter. With APC, his chances are not to be reckoned with anymore. He probably was scared that the LP court issue would still linger. Now that LP has sorted that, the party will reposition itself to move forward.
Reasonable analysis

What type of approach is that?

APC can't win election in the SE unless the approach used by Okorocha and Umahi is used. Else, it's an effort in futility.

He knows more than you....PDP isn't stable party right now....any resources for governorship aspirant is waste of money.

Make them allow Soludo finish what he has been doing.

Why waste money wey no dey.

Two Frontline APC Governorship aspirants have stepped down from the Guber race to hold tomorrow in Awka.

While Paul Chukwuma resigned from the Party entirely, Chuma Umeoji decided to toe the party line.

That Ukachukwu is like Buhari and Atiku of Anambra, always running for position and never gets it. I remember him running for Anambra governor while I was still at Pre science Mbaukwu. Anambra people just like to dey chop his money and he too didn't seem like he had a good personality.
No that's not it his problem is, he always contest from the wrong party. Until he finds his way to APGA or form a heavy alliance with maybe a low profile local party in Anambra the party must have political heavy weights and serious money spenders to enable him possibly get what he want.

Anambra is embedded in APGA as embedded in anambra.

Abeg which one is party line after purchasing form with millions of naira? Why allow candidates spend millions of naira and other resources and their time when you already have a plan as a party?

Which approach did Francis Nwifuru use to win in Ebonyi?
I mentioned two cases. Umahi and Rochas.

These two detected to APC while they were the ruling governors and by so doing, the ripple effect caused others below then to defect. Nwifiru wouldn't have been the governor of Ebonyi if he was in APC if Umahi had remained in PDP.

Even in Imo's case, Ihedioha clearly won the election but the unfortunate corrupt judiciary, influenced the failed Buhari government that was APC handed the state back to APC.

The predecessor, Rochas defected from APGA to APC while he was a sitting governor.

Francis Nwifuru was APC member when he contested and won. Different from Okorocha and Umahi who won under another party and defected to APC.
He won because Umahi already caused the PDD stronghold to defect with him to APC while he was governor and in knowing what would be his influence on the forthcoming election, the remained in the party.

Do you think Nwifiru would have won if Umahi was in PDP and Nwifiru happened to be in APC?

Wetin be Francis Nwifuru? 😂
Who knows Francis? He has zero electoral value and charisma to even win in his clan.
Umahi masterminded the whole thing.
Umahi is just a case of one eyed man being the king in the land of the blind. The poverty rate there is very alarming, majority literally worship Umahi.

Val is from Anambra south just like Soludo.

Rochas defeated a sitting governor in the person of Ohakim, so what was his approach then?

He win under APGA which was already gaining momentum. Also, the case Ohakim had with the church which was popularised by Mbaka casted Ohakim in bad light. This was why he was defeated.

There was no APC then.
