gratiaeo:Zoning arrangement continues with Abambra south. Soludo is making waves all over, particularly the state capital. The transformation of Ekwulobia is very impressive. The bridge, the bottom, the market and bus terminal, everywhere looks good. I wonder if this is the Ekwulobia that we knew either in year 2000 or year 2020. The security law, the roads, infrastructures coming up, education, health and social infrastructure. I think that if given another four years, Anambra will have much more beautiful with Soludo. I think that Soludo would have to make some little bargain with LP to expand his chances more. In all, I do not envisage a Soludo loss. |

gratiaeo:I think he possibly would have won. Do not forget that YPP was a relatively unknown party and Ifeanyi Ubah had taken calculated steps to rise the political ladder. Decamping to APC was calculated to give him better leverage and position him for the Governorship seat. I definitely did not believe that he had the chances of winning the Governorship seat on the platform of APC. He could not have won, but he could possibly win the Senate seat on the APC platform. |

Nonexisting1:No that's not it his problem is, he always contest from the wrong party. Until he finds his way to APGA or form a heavy alliance with maybe a low profile local party in Anambra the party must have political heavy weights and serious money spenders to enable him possibly get what he want. Anambra is embedded in APGA as embedded in anambra. |

Nemere2020:Abeg which one is party line after purchasing form with millions of naira? Why allow candidates spend millions of naira and other resources and their time when you already have a plan as a party? |
| Re: Anambra: Two APC Governorship Aspirants Step Down On Eve Of Primaries by LordBillionz: 11:56am On Apr 05, 2025 |
opes:I mentioned two cases. Umahi and Rochas. These two detected to APC while they were the ruling governors and by so doing, the ripple effect caused others below then to defect. Nwifiru wouldn't have been the governor of Ebonyi if he was in APC if Umahi had remained in PDP. Even in Imo's case, Ihedioha clearly won the election but the unfortunate corrupt judiciary, influenced the failed Buhari government that was APC handed the state back to APC. The predecessor, Rochas defected from APGA to APC while he was a sitting governor. |

opes:He won because Umahi already caused the PDD stronghold to defect with him to APC while he was governor and in knowing what would be his influence on the forthcoming election, the remained in the party. Do you think Nwifiru would have won if Umahi was in PDP and Nwifiru happened to be in APC? |

opes:Wetin be Francis Nwifuru? 😂 Who knows Francis? He has zero electoral value and charisma to even win in his clan. Umahi masterminded the whole thing. Umahi is just a case of one eyed man being the king in the land of the blind. The poverty rate there is very alarming, majority literally worship Umahi. |

LordBillionz:Rochas defeated a sitting governor in the person of Ohakim, so what was his approach then? |
| Re: Anambra: Two APC Governorship Aspirants Step Down On Eve Of Primaries by LordBillionz: 6:59am On Apr 06, 2025 |
Caseless:He win under APGA which was already gaining momentum. Also, the case Ohakim had with the church which was popularised by Mbaka casted Ohakim in bad light. This was why he was defeated. There was no APC then. |
