I hate freebies. They carry fraud

I have been with ECONET since 2005 and now till AIRTEL. They hardly dash but they give you good service for what you buy

You can say what you want to say as the usual Nigerians do but I have got no pain or sorrow in using Telecom in Nigeria

If i need freebies, I go to GLO which gives truly much but with very slow network

MTN na thief. They gave me free YouTube (12-5am) which I was unable to use, the freebie refused to work until I called their customer care last night and they did whatever they did and I was able to use the data. Sharp sharp, I used the whole data to download YouTube videos.
Na me and the videos this weekend

i am tech savvy small, i turned off all app background data useage except for the idm downloader just to ensure true report

checking what the apps consume is not as tenable as testing directly with a download

whether scientist take it or not ... it does negate my observation or truth, try it and show me its not true
I have glasswire installed on my Android phone. If you are using Android, you can try it.

Bold of you to think that I don't know the nitty gritty of data consumption. And bolder of you to even assume that I'm Gen Z.

Let me give you a practical scenario - last week, I was browsing on my MTN when I got a text that my data was almost exhausted. It remained 100mb.

Immediately, I turned on my Airtel Mifi, and connected to it. I turned off cellular data.

Tell me why, after browsing on my Airtel wifi for a few minutes, MTN sends me a message that my data had been exhausted. I wasn't even using it. It was turned off.

Continue defending MTN. I've tracked my data usage, and I can say that MTN isn't being straightforward with their data.
