Hello house, please how do you answer this part of the tourist visa form? How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK? Please note, company is sponsoring to the tune of £2,800 and company account is well funded. Amount in the personal account is currently like 400k, monthly spending exceeds 2 million. Also note, field can not be £0, can the person put £150 as personal contribution to the trip? |

Hi Good evening guys. Please I need some advice and I’d really appreciate if I can get from here. So I got a 6 months visa few years back but I never got to use it because some things happened and it expired before I got to use it. I want to apply for another 6 months visa next month because I’ve been planning a one week trip. Please, do I need to include the reason why I didn’t use the previous visa in a cover letter? Also, I earn 600 plus monthly but I plan on using a sponsor, a family member is paying for the trip. I will still submit the statement of my current account which happens to me my salary account.. I don’t have any unexplained credit but the problem is that for the last 5 months, I’ve been moving my salary to my savings account and I used the money to do treasury bills from my savings account. Is it ok to attach the Tbills form or I shouldn’t bother? I don’t want to attach statement from my savings account because it’s such a mess- so many unexplained inflows. I don’t know how to answer that part of ‘monthly expenditure’ because from my salary account statement it will show that I’ve been moving my salary to my other account. I can leave 500k from my salary in my current account before my application just to show that I have some cash to spare. Please someone advise me. What else do I need to do so that I can get this visa? Thank you. |

This is cruel and unfair. How is the credit unexplainable?? Was there not a near-equal debit before the credit?? Should I deliberately be keeping money strictly for UK visa?? I can't live a normal life with my finances because I want to visit UK?? Phuck is this ![]()

Hello House, if your company (owned by you) wants to sponsor your trip, can they send the travel/sponsorship money to your personal account? Provided they will still add a cover letter stating they are sponsoring the trip, the cover letter will also serve as explanation for the deposit of that fund. Will that be fine or it is a red flag? Also, if your company is sponsoring your trip and they send the fund to you account, do you still need to attached the company's 6 month account statement? |

Hello house, Pls what is the average waiting time for a dependant visa after biometrics? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by canadaman18: 2:42am On Apr 15, 2025 |
mindworx:Harsh indeed I assume this is from a money market fund ? If yes , maybe you could have attached the statement of the money market fund separately as well. This is what I plan to do for my parents I’d say try to reapply and just add an explanation and statements of the mm fund |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by eniola1010(m): 9:39am On Apr 15, 2025 |
JulianaAdeyemi:No u dont need to explain why u did not utilize the previous visa |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by eniola1010(m): 9:43am On Apr 15, 2025 |
solid3:Yes i will advice your company sends the money into your account. A lot of people can say no the money should remain in the company account But i personally do not buy that, if the company is going to send the money into your account when you get to uk then what is stopping them from sending it now even before you get to uk. So yes let your company send the money into your account, and no u dont have to submit the company’s bank statement. You can submit the company cac and do a insolvency certificate and dont forget to write a non-breach letter from your company |

JulianaAdeyemi:Please can someone advise me. For the past 5 months I’ve been moving my salary to my savings account and I eventually locked the money in treasury bills this year from the same savings account- not salary account. Do I need to attach the tbills certificate in my application to show that I don’t spend all my salary but I’ve been investing? The only problem is that I don’t want to show my savings account statement because I have so many unexplained credits. I’m trying to figure out how to explain the monthly expenditure part in the visa application because I always move my salary to my savings account. Thank you. |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 1:40pm On Apr 15, 2025 |
JulianaAdeyemi:It is not mandatory to use a visa. It actually counts in your favour as it shows that you are not desperate to visit the UK. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 1:41pm On Apr 15, 2025 |
JulianaAdeyemi:Add the certificate for the TBills. Your salary account is important as it shows the source of your income. |

Good afternoon great minds. I have a little concern I wish people who have had similar experience to help me with. My MIL already has utilised her uk 6months visa last year when she spent 5 months in the UK. Now, she has a two years visa and this is how she intends to use it: First visit: Spend 5 months 3 weeks in the uk, return to Nigeria and stay for 6 weeks. Second visit: Spend 5 months 3 weeks in the UK, return back to Nigeria and stay for 8 weeks Third visit: Spend 5 months 3 weeks in the week , then return back to Nigeria and spent 3 months, then apply for visa renewal. In accordance with the rule, would these be considered "frequent visits" and make her visa renewal difficult and possibly not be allowed entry at the POE? I would appreciate responses. Thanks |

cbn4main:Visa cancellation and Entry ban awaits her. 110% ![]() It is a visa for visiting and not to live in the UK. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by crackcrack: 8:55pm On Apr 15, 2025 |
cbn4main:Your mother-in-law is planning to abuse her UK visit visa. Even if her visa is not canceled, she would almost certainly have trouble at the Border during one of her visits. And if she miraculously makes it through the border each time, when she applies for her next visa, there will be trouble. I know of someone who has an American passport and was doing something similar to what your MIL is planning. Even though Americans can use the e-gates, this person was flagged one time at the airport and was denied entry. They put him on the next plane back to the US. This is someone that does not even require a visa to visit the UK. Bottom line is a UK visit visa is not a way to live in the UK. You cannot abuse the people who granted you a visa and hope to go scott-free. It might work for some time, but they will eventually stop her from coming to the UK, either through a refusal of entry or refusal of her next visa application. |

Thanks guys for the information. We would make adjustments to reduce the frequency of the visits |
