Oasis007, I only started supporting the signing once he got here as I do with every other player. I recall I was adamant that the goalie position was not the most pressing concern in the team and I argued that signing a ball playing goal keeper will not change our ball retention rate...

It's on these board I said that some of the long balls from De Gea is made worse by the lack of effort from our strikers. Baba look well o! Next time you associate me with Onana, you'll hear from my lawyers.

Let's not revise history. DDG had to go. He absolutely had to go. The problem is most of us saw Onana perform well in the CL final and advocated for him. 2 things can be right, DDG had to go but Onana also has to go.

Afrodoc was one of the most critical of Degea if you actually go through the post. He said he'll carry your team to where you no no and you didn't mention him. Also, before he was eventually signed, leyqute was the #1 campaigner and posted different videos of Onana being press resistant and how he sent multiple long balls to start attacks. You also forgot expert17 who didn't rate DeGea that particular period.



My point is that, if you want to mention names, then go full force and mention all of them. Patrick and CapCee for me didn't do much compared to afrodoc, leyqute and expert17

If the idea was to mention those who wanted a better all round keeper, then go full length and mention all not nitpicking some names Nd leaving some who were even more critical out. You were more critical than those names mentioned.

Onana can be erratic. The wires in his brain get mixed up sometimes. A GK like Diogo Costa is a safer bet.

The club (and the manager) have to correct this mistake this offseason. We have to get a new GK next season. Getting a new GK and a new striker are our most important moves for next season.

Amorim also has to grow some balls and bench him for the 2nd leg. Unless Bayindir, Heaton, and Harrision are all so unserviceable that they can't be trusted at all. Onana singlehandedly kicked us out of UCL last season, and he is about to do the same to us in Europa this season.

In the Summer, a striker, AM/CM and a Goal Keeper is a must. We can use extra funds to try and get a RWB.
We are good in Defence with Maz, Yoro, Maguire, Deligt and Heaven, even Shaw can deputise if fit.
