As good as Liverpool were. Thry were hamstrung by Karius in goal. I'm not sure we can continue to survive that. He has to go.
Oya na. Let's see how it goes

Not sure where I have lied here. You seem to forget DDG was playing against us in his last 2 seasons. So many errors. People point to golden glove but our deep defence has a much to do with that than even DDG.
This is not true. In DDG last 2 seasons with us,

2021/22 season: DDG had 128 saves in the league, the 3rd highest in the league.

2022/23 season: The season he won the Golden glove, he had 101 saves in the league. The 7th highest in the league.

In contrast, Ederson and Allison shared 2021/22 Golden glove and they were not in top 10 of saves in the league.

In 2023/24, Raya won the golden glove and he wasn’t top 10 in saves in the league either.

Yet when DDG won 2022/23 Golden glove, he was 7th in the saves ranking.

Why is this looking like a dejavu. Like we've been here before recently and it's sounding very familiar cheesy
DDG was not supoosed to be the first to go. We had other pressing areas of the team to fix just like now, the goal keeping position is the most pressing concern even more than that of the striker.

I die every time the opponents attack.

Exactly...DDG had to go at some point but not when he left, we had more serious issues in the team but the coach prioritised the goal keeping position just because he wanted to reunite with his former goalie...Bin Laden is a terrorist...

He became too error prone is the point. What is saves when you are constantly costing your team and unreliable

Apparently you failed to notice Ruben Amorim on the sidelines signalling frantically for Fernandes and Zirkzee to attack the Lyon goal area instead of signalling the players to take the ball to the corner flag area.
No problem....next season will expose a lot of things in detail.
Is that why zirkzee is doing a fukin flick in d penalty box.. makes no sense. At least hold d ball up or shoot. He just flicked it to no one.. and didn't run back for the counter.. as soon as I saw that I was like mehn if we concede this would be bleeped up ... 5 seconds later we concede

None of this mentions the errors he made. Just goes to show you that stats cannot tell you everything.

A wise man once said that statistics are like bikinis, what they reveal is suggestive but what they conceal is vital.

I will never forget that game versus Chelsea. We were pushing for a top 4 finish and Chelsea were not playing well. It was a tight boring game. We were 1-0 up and looking to see things out.

Then Rudiger fired a normal shot from long range at DeGea. He fumbled it and Alonso scored from the rebound. That game pained me die. It was as if DDG didn’t want Utd to win. I lost my appetite for football immediately.

Deep defence was due to the fact that we had useless defenders and a useless coach.

They'll tell you he was the one that attracted the shots. Hehehe.

They were just obsessed with the word "ball playing".

Let’s be honest. DDG was not this bad. Onana has conceded so many really stupid goals.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by odizeey(m): 11:47pm On Apr 12, 2025
You will enjoy Onana. Hehehe.

Even if it was Diogo Costa that was bought, we might still be in this position.

You guys want to deny how shaky our defence was? From Smalling and Jones to Maguire and Lindelof.

Martinez came in and De Gea won golden glove.

Make una dey lie dey go

Quite unfortunate. I have read that they believe the niggling injuries are due to growth spurts and they expect the injuries to stop once he reaches full height.

The problem is that he is losing developmental time on the pitch while his peers continue to improve. In terms of pure technique he is far superior to Fletchers, Ibragimov, Thwaites and our other top players.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jungleboi(m): 3:44am On Apr 13, 2025
Onana need to be investigated for match fixing. After been banned for a whole year for doping there's nothing this nigga won't do.

Most of his mistakes looks self sabotaging no way in hell he's that dumb.

In 2021/22, he made 1 error leading to goal in the league.

In 2022/23, he made 2 error leading to goal in the league.

This season alone, Onana has made 3 errors leading to goal in the league and we still have 8 games to go.

Na Garnacho and Hojlund dey make me lose appetite these days. I see them in attacking positions with the ball, I automatically know we won’t score.

Onana has shown that he is error prone and unreliable already. It’s difficult to be disappointed when someone you don’t rate falls short of expectations.

It’s an opportunity to dethrone Onana from the number one spot. Hopefully he grabs it with both arms.

The guy set the club back by a few years. He made sure he bought rubbish, and he made sure spent lots of money (all our money actually) buying the rubbish. Now there is little or no money to correct the mistake.

Very clean job. grin

I read somewhere that Onana has made 8 errors since the start of last season. The most of any keeper playing in the league. Most of the errors are in very crucial games plus they don’t include stupid errors that almost led to goals.

Ball playing useless keeper, my foot!
