Hello peeps, I just need some advice about something going on in my life.

I went to a polytechnic two years ago when I had absolutely nothing — I mean, nothing at all. Even my mom was struggling to make ends meet. I had a really tough experience in that school, and I’ve prayed that none of my family members ever have to go through what I went through.

But since last year, things have changed positively for both me and my mom. I’ve been thinking about going back to school — this time, to a university (my dream school), especially now that it won’t affect my hustle since I work online. My mom’s financial situation has also improved, and she’s ready to support me through any institution I choose because she sees how serious and focused I’ve become. She believes in my potential.

Now, here’s the thing — my friends, the ones I graduated with two years ago, are ahead of me now. Some of them are even getting ready for NYSC. Whenever I think about it, I feel down, like I’m behind in life. And to make it worse, some of them might even see me as a fool for choosing to start university all over again — like it’s a waste of time.

I want to know if this things are something to feel bad about… because I know it won’t be easy

After my first degree, I had the chance to go back and study my real career choice at 27....i never did cos of fear of unknown and what people will say. I still regret it till now
