Listing Dangote Refinery on the Nigerian Exchange is a great move that promises significant benefits for citizens. It also provide a legitimate investment opportunity and helps protect individuals from scams like CBex, where many have lost their money. With this listing, citizens can become key players in the economy through financial participation, which not only empowers them but also fosters job creation. As more local and foreign investors come on board, the refinery will expand, driving growth and opportunities for everyone involved. This initiative could truly transform the economic landscape for Nigerians. Its a good move. |

Dougad:Crude is an international commodity, therefore even the country can't dictate the price and sell to outsiders in its local currency. Selling to dangote(a local refinary) in local. Currency means the operations Of the refinary won't be run on usd and would not gulp the already scarce fx in circulation. |

Dan18:The participating bodies in the transaction are both local. The USD still circulates within the country. While I'm not particularly against or for it, it's basically a net zero policy dressed in nationalistic sentiment, a superficial economic performance, so to speak, that neither depletes nor add, but sounds good to the masses. |
