So are you part of the meek ones today?

Meekness is part of the attributes of God's Holy Spirit {Galatians 5:22-23} but since we are sinners {Romans 3:23} we can't just develop it naturally so we need to work hard in order to put away this old personality {Ephesians 4:22} the make it our aim to continue striving to put on the new personality that was created according to God's will! Ephesians 4:23-24

So how can you be sure you're working towards this goal?

First of all the opposite of meekness is arrogance so we must identify when the spirit of arrogance is at work.

Arrogance will blind someone from admitting he or she needs help and ask for it rather an arrogant person will only stick to whatever suits his or her likens even when he or she knows it's not really beneficial but due to pride he or she will keep to whatever he or she wants in pigheadedness.

Secondly you need to appreciate anyone who has come to enlighten you on what you never knew before this will make the other person do more by teaching you many more things and by so doing you are gaining wisdom.

Lastly after acknowledging you have found a teacher you need to listen more than talking.

By so doing you are proving to be meek and before you know it you will become even wiser than most of those teaching you!
