The gym spot in gwarinpa that I visited some years ago.... a guy walked upto me and started to toast me.

That was how I stopped going out to workout.... I do few dumbells and press-ups and sit-ups... I sweat and go to work...

Comes home every 2 months or there about.
The lady always bring different rides to the gym but then, something is just not right.
She always call me and chat me on Whatsapp. Asking when next I will be coming to the gym and she missed me.
From there it upgraded to using Dear, Babe etc when addressing me.
She is into biz while kids are in hostel.
Told me we should go out to see many places in the city and other things.
To make long story short, she asked me for a soft loan of 300k just the second time of we meeting at the gym.
Imagine, Just imagine that.
But your hubby is okay now. She said she wants to add to her money to execute some biz.
Told her don't have because I wasn't okay with the way things were going and moving so fast but had to grant her 200k.
She promised to pay back a week later.
Na the matter I still dey up till now since February.
One week is over 1 month with so many excuses.
I guess wan ti gbe mi ni handicap.
They don run me street.

Iv encountered gay men. At least on five occasions.
Most gays have some particular identical traits such as being bullies, oppressive and looking for your weakness before showing their hand.


If you look soft or act soft they would easily propose.


If you lack money and usually needs financial bailouts, they would use that as an advantage.

U think gays don't know that they are stigmatized , especially in Nigeria?


They know.

And would usually find ways to keep u in a point of disadvantage before revealing their motives.

It's really what it is. Even ordinary jogging within an estate is gradually turning into hookup avenue for the enthusiasts.

All the necessary gym materials and equipment are in my house. Go to warehouse, mile 2, and get quality tokunbo gym equipment of your choice. Sometimes, I do my gym in my room, completely naked, especially when doing yoga and without thoughts of anyone looking at me. There are lots of YouTube videos to guide you on any gym activities or fitness you want to achieve within the comfort of your home. However, going to gym offers that opportunity for socialisation and networking, if that's what you want. I love my privacy more than anything else.

“Some women are seen wearing revealing and provocative gym outfits, which leads to questioning the motivations behind their choice of clothing.

“But it’s not just the clothing that’s causing a stir. Some gym-goers use these spaces to hook up with romantic partners.

“I’ve seen women wearing gym outfits that are quite revealing; it can be distracting, especially when you’re trying to focus on your workout,” Adekoya said.

Also, Jason Onwuka, a regular gym-goer in the Festac area of the state, shared his perspectives on the evolving balance between staying fit, distractions, and the growing influence of social media.

“I prefer going to the gym to work out because I’m more motivated there, but I have seen people meeting up at the gym, and it’s clear that they’re not there to work out.

“They’ll spend hours talking and laughing together, and it’s just not what the gym is meant for.

“As society becomes increasingly individualised, people are looking for new ways to connect with others.

“The gym has become a space where people can meet new friends, find romantic partners, and feel a sense of community,” he said.

Onwuka noted that while the gym had become increasingly popular, with more social interactions, it was up to individuals to remain focused on their goals.

“Whatever it is you do, there will always be distractions. If you go to the gym with a clear goal to train and focus on your workout, it’s up to you whether you allow distractions to affect you.”

He also observed that the professional women who come to the gym are more focused on their workouts and do not dress provocatively.

“They wear comfortable leggings or tights that are easy to work out in,” he said.

Recently, a former Big Brother Naija star, Teddy A, weighed in on the issue of indecent dressing at the gym.

In a video posted on his social media page, Teddy A expressed displeasure over the trend, stressing the importance of covering sensitive body parts during workouts.

“I’m not trying to be insensitive, but we don’t want them to start banning girls from the gym because of indecent dressing,” he said.

Teddy A’s comments sparked a heated debate on social media, with some arguing that gyms should enforce stricter dress codes, while others saw it as an overreaction.

A manager at a popular fitness centre in the Ajah area of the state, who pleaded anonymity, told NAN that they have had to implement rules about appropriate clothing and behaviour in the gym.

“We want to create a welcoming and respectful environment for all our members.

“But despite the efforts of the management, the trend shows no signs of slowing down.

The number two is that this is a major reason I advocate for paying directly for sex rather than this "let's go out for lunch or to the beach". Men get to pay more when they opt this model. If she wants sex and being paid for it, better. But asking for a loan, touring the city and still getting paid (she will demand for more funds) is a loss on the man's side.
