Ellexy:Na who and you dey bake cake? Hehehe. My words were critical of the performance. There was no celebration involved unlike you that was spamming this place with laugh and smile emojis and twerking/breakdance videos. You are the club downfall celebrant. You can't escape your destiny. ![]() You go explain tire but no evidence.

Ellexy: ![]() ......do I need to spell it out so plainly for you to understand?! LOL! The main difference between Manchester United and Southampton this season is Amorim. We’re just lucky to have him; otherwise, we’d be fighting for 20th place alongside Southampton. LOL! |

Lacey makes it 3-2. From 2-0 down. |

nitrogen:I believe he was just joking. Southampton are likely going to be one of the 3 worst teams in EPL history in terms of points total. And we are NOT lucky to have Amorim. He is the one that is lucky to be Man Utd manager. Who is he and what has he achieved? |

afrodoc:game management in the second half was atrocious. Amorim obviously decided to bank on the desperation of Lyon. gave up the ball and played on the counter. it was a good strategy giving the context at that point in the game and it worked. problem was the players kept shooting blanks with the numerous chances it created. I was expecting him to dump the idea early since we couldn't put the game to bed that way and introduce Mainoo for Garnacho, Mount for Hojlund and Eriksen for Dorgu since Shaw was already on the pitch. just to knock it around, switch plays, draw fouls and see it out without pressure. I hope he learnt a lot from the game. |

I don't think there's a player out there who can take the stick Maguire took from fans and opponents and still come back strong...Maguire, I doff my hat... Another player I applaud is Casemiro...Top players. |

![]() ......Sir Rúben Amorim is him.

![]() ......Yoro is picking up form, and Heaven has shown us that he is an incredible bag of potential. De Ligt's experience and leadership skills are consistently reliable. Maguire has developed a tough mentality and is becoming dependable. Licha is solid as always, and Mazraoui is blending well with the team. Dorgu is young and has the potential to improve rapidly. I think our defense is not in a bad state, provided everyone stays fit. However, we need to make some adjustments. Replacing Evans, Shaw, Lindelof and possibly Dalot with Harry Amass and Kukonki on a full-time basis should be a priority. In midfield, we are far too light and thin. Releasing Eriksen as soon as the transfer window opens should be considered. Casemiro at 33yrs might be better off moving to the Saudi League or MLS. We don’t need to overspend here; Collyer is ready, and Moorhouse deserves a chance before the end of the season for a proper assessment, alongside Kone and Scanlon. As for the attacking players, Mount, Antony, Sancho, and Højlund need to go. I would be thrilled if we could sign Osimhen. Give Rashford another shot to prove himself again. Garnacho should stay, and Mainoo should be developed into a proper attacking midfielder. Chido should also become an integral part of the first team. Areas to reinforce IMO: Striker: Osimhen is the ideal candidate. Central Midfield: Invest in one world-class midfielder. Wing-Backs: Bring in two, one right wing-back (RWB) and one left wing-back (LWB). Goalkeeper: Heaton is leaving at the end of the season and Onana should be sold. A single top-quality goalkeeper is needed. If we make these changes, I believe we’ll be in a strong position to compete for the top 4 next season.

afrodoc2:If not for injuries that boy should be knocking on the doors of first. He is the same age with Amass who is now permanently promoted to the senior team. |

Oasis007:For Me. - Rashford needs to go. He is washed forget his hot and cold performances at Villa. - the Difference between Casemiro and Collyer is like Jupiter and Mecury. Collyer is a good lad but he is no where near Casemiro in quality and mentality. - Harry Amass and Kukonki are no where near the qualities and abilities of Dalot. They are good prospects now but they are not yet ready. We need Osihmen like Oxygen, its not just about how clinical he is, Osihmen is a press demon and has the physicality and pace that this system needs, he will suit this system like a glove. Yoro, will be a world class ball playing defender, €62m total outlay for him at just 19 is a steal. Madrid made a huge mistake not going for him. Onana should be let go if possible, Next season should be the last chance saloon for mount. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CapitalCee(m): 12:43am On Apr 19, 2025 |
eph12:When we are pushing a game na. The only striker we have now is Hojlund and he is useless. |

CapitalCee:Oh I think Amorim has done it like twice before yesterday. Only yesterday yielded result and he was abused for trying something like that. I remember nitrogen complaining very bitterly some weeks ago when Amorim made this kind of change |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 2:23am On Apr 19, 2025 |
CapitalCee:From a technical point of view he is better than all our Under-18 and Under-21 attacking players. The physical aspect and the injuries are the major problems. However if Amass could seemingly overcome the physical challenges then Lacey still has a chance too. He just needs to stop getting injured. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:53am On Apr 19, 2025 |
CapitalCee:.........I understand your concerns about replacing experienced players with academic graduates. Everyone knows that Casemiro is a better player, but he’s aging. He no longer has the stamina and endurance needed for the Premier League. The sooner we let him go, the better. Collyer on the other hand, will improve with consistent playing time. The boy is strong and exudes confidence. I particularly admire his composure on the ball and the way he drives forward. As for Dalot, he will remain inconsistent in his performances. I didn’t suggest starting Kukonki and Amass just yet, I made it clear that we need to bring in a new RWB and LWB. Kukonki and Amass should focus on understudying the new signings and playing in League Cup matches until they’re fully ready. I believe Rashford has probably learned his lessons. I hope he is given another chance to prove himself. |
