The situation of the Enugu runway has been causing major disruptions to Air Peace flights, hence the decision to temporarily suspend further flights into this airport until further noticeMaintenance culture is one of our problems in Nigeria. |

Hehehe. The level of marginalization the South East experience is on another level. This is an airport they claim to have upgraded into international standard. Playing with people's lives in the name of playing politics. Let them go their way,you guys say no. No presence of meaningful functional rail,no good roads and now flights are been threatened. One Nigeria is indeed a fasad. |

crossfm:Nothing like marginalisation here. It was Stella Oduah an Igbo woman as aviation minister who claimed to have fixed that airport. Chidoka was aviation minister. What did he do? But the idiot turned himself into Kanu's driver to deceive Igbos like you. Inferiority complex makes you people cry marginalisation for everything even when your fellow Igbos sabotage you.. crossfm:Here are your fellow Igbos uprooting and selling rail tracks in Abia state. https://www.nairaland.com/6342720/hoodlums-abia-uproot-rail-lines But you are here crying that there is no functional rail. The roads you are crying about, have you forgotten how you people listed all those roads as roads GEJ fixed and so deserved reelection? Now, you are crying about the same roads. When you clowns are tired of fooling yourselves, you will look inwards. |

From Enugu to Asaba? What the hell happened to using Anambra Airport. It's closer, it has no safety concerns. Or Ebonyi church hall |

There should be accountability, this nonsense must stop. Oduah Stella, remember you claimed to have upgraded this airport Why do you people enjoy toying with innocent lives ? Even though Airpeace don show me shege in flight disruptions, I am impressed with their safety standards and measures. The Governor should engage Festus Keyanmo immediately |

It may be because Asaba Airport is less busy and in better position to handle the extra traffic without resulting in further delays. Ebonyi Airport is not ready to handle regular commercial flights. Bullhari: |

Hotfreezing:You just open your gutter and vomit trash! So once a runway is paved, there shouldn't be constant maintenance for it to be sustained. The truth is that the contraption called Nigeria is a disaster waiting to happen,we are only postponing the evil day. I can tell you that APC govt in truth, has no true vision or political will to fix every part of Nigeria and this is why since they took over governance,Nigeria has been on the downward drive. I am not holding brief for PDP,but PDP is far more nationalistic than those tribal supremacists in APC. |

Good, human lives shouldn't be at risk. Ebonyi Airport that is nearby, still remaibs a white elephant project despite its re-commisioning and not ready to handle the redirected flights. |
| Re: Air Peace Suspends Operations At Enugu Airport by Hotfreezing: 7:09am On Apr 19, 2025 |
AustineE1:Na so. It is Igbos stealing the rail tracks in Igboland, but maintenance is what you are crying about. Oregun road in Ikeja was done by Julius Berger with a warranty of 14 years. It's almost 20 years now. Go there, no single pothole on that road. Thousands of vehicles and trucks pass there every day. But Enugu tarmac has turned to Auchi road road 10 years. Even the airport that the Igbo minister did in Igboland, have you forgotten how it got flooded when the first rain fell after it was commissioned? |
| Re: Air Peace Suspends Operations At Enugu Airport by Hotfreezing: 7:13am On Apr 19, 2025 |
chuose2:You may not know that we've had 2 Igbos as aviation ministers in the past 10 years. So, your marginalization tears won't fly. Well, except if Igbos are marginalising Igbos. No one is afraid of the SE leaving. There are more vehicles of people running from the SE to other parts of Nigeria than there are vehicles taking people to SE. |
