Finally I have been vindicated... I have been saying it here that national grid power is expensive and any industry depending on it is not serious Nigerians are too poor for constant national grid electricity Electricity is not top 10 problem of the manufacturing sector because we have access to electricity in Nigeria Nigerians mistake access to electricity to 24/7 national grid electricity |

If a whole Federal Government is complaining about the small Utility bill, what should ordinary self sustained Nigerians do? From your end as federal government you are trying to defend that such amount is a waste but you refuse to see it from our own end that the amount we spend on electricity is absolute wastage despite we are self sustained.. We live in Nigeria like there is no government. |

Celestialsword:We don’t have many competitive advantages in the wood industry so it is perfectly fine to import toothpicks. It’ll be a waste of time and energy to force ourselves to produce toothpicks |

On this one Asiwaju no try If it's not sustainable for you at the Top and you can afford alternative source of energy, how do you expect the people at the bottom to cope with the bills? This reason should only propel you to make energy affordable instead of looking for shortcut for yourself |

But they want common man to pay Adelabu banditry bills. Very unfortunate some some people will still defend this. Some people's electricity bills, more than house rents. ![]() |

Despite enjoying the privilege of free amenities and actively looting funds, you want to escape the inefficiency in power sector you caused in appointing disaster as power minister.......but yet they want the common citizens to pay the humongous monthly estimated energy bills...,.. ![]() |

But it is sustainable for us, the general public. Leadership comes from behind in these parts. Living by example is alien. That is why it is so easy to predict the future of this country, it's economy and in doing so make a financial killing. |

47 billion is quite high. I support the installation of the solar system. The govt is not stopping you from installing solar system, if you have the money. You can't expect the Aso Rock villa to be without light for a minute. If this pains you.....go and get a card of any party of your choice and vile for the no 1 seat. Till then..... |
| Re: ₦47Bn Yearly Power Bill Unsustainable, FG Explains Aso Rock Solar Installation by neonix(m): 5:49pm On Apr 25, 2025 |
After installation they will start needing just 5 billion naira annually to maintain the solar installation. |
