11 league goals for Mctominay. Glad he finally found somewhere his skill sets are put to good use. Hopefully he wins the league with Napoli. |

afrodoc:Na that Amass carry the minutes go up. And na because Dorgu get red card and nobody to use. I'm not even saying he's not putting them(does he even have a choice with all the injuries?). I'm only calling out that phrase "not ready yet" you guys use. How is Chido not ready yet? |

We will never forget when Cristiano Ronaldo was scoring weeks in weeks out to keep Man United at the top and United fans were calling him the problem. 🙄🙄 |

odizeey:Your first wrong statement: Amass did not play when Dorgu got red card. And even if Amass pushes the minutes up is that strange? Is he not part of the youths? Or it me or you that will push the minutes up? When some of us say not ready yet we say that because we watch every single minute of every single televised academy game, and we see how they are performing for the full 90 minutes and not just highlights. Your second wrong statement: Chido is not one of the ones i think is not ready yet. In fact, i have been calling on Chido to start games for a few weeks now. Finally, you people talk as if City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle play their teenagers. Apart from recently when Arsenal started playing Nwaneri and MLS we are the only big team that continues giving minutes to such young players, mainly because it is our tradition and also partly because the senior players are thrash. The truth is we are the ones who play our teenagers, and in some cases, we even overplay our teenagers when they are not ready. You don't hear about other club's fans lamenting like ours. City's Under-18 team is presently equal to our even slightly better than our Under-18 team and it is almost certain that none of them will smell senior team for maybe 2 to 3 years sef. Meanwhile we have had 2 players make their debuts in a few months and a couple others make the bench. City's Under-21 team is way better than our Under-21 team and those boys are struggling to make the senior team bench. Check Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. They all have academies too. How many of them are they playing? The difference is that their senior players are doing their job so there is no undue pressure on their academy players. Oscar Bobb is 21 and used to deal with our academy but he is still on the fringes at City. If he was here, he would have been on 200 games by now and fans might have started cussing him out too. |

51 goals in 48 games this season. • Around £60m • No huge salary demand • Experienced, proven goalscorer • Played under Amorim But no, let's sign another promising, young striker Liam Delap from Ipswich because he's cheaper and has the potential of being the next Harry Kane. 🤡neos

afrodoc2:Chido not being ready, my question is to the person who says he's not ready. We are in a state where we need these academy players to play more. Our first team players are either useless or injured. You'll introduce an academy player and he turns up but in the next game you won't play him to build up. See how arsenal are using MLS and Nwaneri? |

afrodoc2:do you know how teenager pep have use this season. If someone like yamal is at man u, his career would be in jeopardy by now. Amorim will not even send him |

odizeey:thank you for this. But according to afrodoc the academy are not ready |

delkuf:List the teenagers Pep has used this season and how many minutes they have played individually and collectively. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by superfelix: 1:04pm On Apr 28, 2025 |
delkuf:Pep has used just two and they're currently even 20yrs old. Lewis and O'Reilly (just 7 apps in the league). Man Utd on the other hand have used Heaven, Amass, Mainoo (turned 20 few days ago), Yoro (although not from the academy) and Obi |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 1:06pm On Apr 28, 2025 |
odizeey:This is the crux of the matter. You want us to use these academy players not because they are ready or not but because the senior players are useless. It is better for you guys to go and beg the great senior players to start playing great football, instead of trying to wreck the future of innocent children. ![]() We play more teenagers and give them more minutes than most other clubs and you are claiming we over protect them. LOL. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 1:08pm On Apr 28, 2025 |
superfelix:Haba. I wanted him to answer first now. I don't like people like you that give expo in exams just because you sabi book. I want him to list the numerous teenagers Pep has used this season and compare the number to ours, and their minutes played to ours. |
