Being tied to the apron string happens each time a presumed or supposedly mature husband cries to his father for things as minor as resolving issues with his wife. It is when a wife still cries to her family house almost every weekend especially where they are in the same city for issues that can be resolved with a simple sorry or thank you.

When I married my wife and she saw the way I dress the bed, the shown same jealous.. the reason I keep telling girls that if you don't humble and learn now your marriage may be stress. It is one aspect I don't get in my wife. It is very exhausting. I want my children to learn in a better way. I can cook very well. I learnt all these under my sisters

That advice could be a poison, because it may not be understood in context.
Marriage is a covenant, not a contract or absolute freedom to do what you like. For Instance, while you are not expected to control your wife or husband, you've got to be in agreement with what you do with your finances and how you relate with the family each of you has come from. More so each of you has become part of each other's extended family. Everything should be done in love and peace. That's how you get rest and tranquility. But to give or live by rules and regulations, it's a recipe for disasters.
