Mainoo is not very mobile. Neither is he defensively aware. So, Ugarte have been doing the job of two men most times and it’s been a lot to handle. The two wingbacks- one a rookie and the other played out of positions, hasn’t helped matters either.

True. Mainoo should not be an option in a two man midfield, if not na work go kill the second midfielder. Unless the opponent set up to defend from the beginning, the team will seriously suffer. Then the WB are supposed to be able to tuck into the midfield to help out but it's still a learning process for them

We were 1 man down with de Ligt on the floor, Garnacho raised his hand and stopped following his man making us effectively 2 men down. His man crossed the ball for the 2nd goal.

Not under any pressure, the ball perfectly crossed, on his stronger foot, and he still miskicked. Garnacho is 100% sure to miss at least one very good chance per game. The worst is that those missed chances don't even trouble the keepers at all
