I don't know why we lack the capacity to be able to process or produce steel by ourselves. We can't even mine some solid minerals ourselves ![]() |

dalass:Knowing these things takes time, the technical know how is not easy but easier to say. The Chinese lured US companies to their country with cheap labors. Years after the same Chinese is about to dethrone US in the manufacturing industry. They learnt US trade secrets. If Nigeria can be patience, we can learn from Chinese too and someday we can stand on our own but for now, let’s just be like mumu, accommodate them and learn from them. |

dalass:Government corporation has failed due to gross mismanagement. The so called Nigerian billionaires are the most corrupt citizens you can imagine, it's government money that made them rich. President Buhari dealth with the oil billionaires, President Tinubu retired everyone back to village. See how Chinese, indians and Lebanese are taking millions of USD 🤑 out of the country daily. Most thriving manufacturing companies are presently run by foreigners |

Hope they will not be stealing iron ore and steel at Itakpe and Ajaokuta in Kogi state to Ogun state for refinishing because when you talk of iron and steel in Nigeria, the place is Ajaokuta in Kogi state. We all know why they refused to complete the project because it is not located at the place of interest. Late Pa Awolowo once said that "a precious food found in the farm is not to be eaten in the farm/bush but brought home" that Ajaokuta steel mill be situated in Ogun or Lagos state. Hope this is not the actualisation of Awolowo's dream. Ododo of Kogi state, wake up, collect Ajaokuta from the Federal government, look for partners overseas and finish it for the benefit of the state. |
